We're from Chicago and this was as good as any big city bistro. Great service great food in a warm atmosphere.
So I guess all the reviews are under Yelp but I use google maps so here's my two cents. The service was excellent. Staff was... very friendly, owner came out and checked to see how everything was. Food was incredible. I had the fried oysters, harvestsalad and pork schnitzel. The oysters rivaled some of the best oysters I ever had which was in New Orleans. The salad wasincredible (beets, sprouts, sunflower seeds, crispy bacon, vinaigrette dressing). Main course was on par with everything else. I would highly recommend the Spoons Bistro. Travis (the owner and chef) is delightful...but sports the losing combination of arrogance + ignorance. He unsuccessfully tried... to defend his choice of serving high fructose corn syrup (Heinz ketchup) at what otherwise a fine dining experience. SorryTravis... We wont be back. Read more
