Zero star due to service....actually lack thereof. The food was GOOD...we had a pizza. However, our waitress NEVER checked on... us. Did not offer us another drink when she took out empties away. And when setting the bill down. "There is that". NEVERasked how our meal was or anything, NEVER offered another drink. WORST SERVICE EVER! Read more
Great drink menu for cocktails with a quality bartender. My one drink, Kentucky Mule, was delicious and did the trick. Service... was exceptional, from host to drink and food. Meal was timely. Pork was delicious but if I had one complain about it, it wouldbe a little tough (that or my steak knife was dull). Beside that delicious meal - nearly cleared plate. Read more

This restaurant is very smartly placed in the shopping area if Victor. It has a cozy dining area complete with a fireplace, a... lively bar area as well as an enclosed patio area. There are plenty of flat screens to view any of the current sporting events.For these reasons, the very comfortable ambiance City Tavern provides is worth a visit. That's where the three stars in thisreview are awarded. If Americana style food appeals to you then, I imagine you may give this restaurant a higher review. I foundthe chicken parmesan dinner lackluster at best at a price that should have commanded a far tastier experience. My wife had theNeapolitan pizza and also found it subpar. That said, The wine selection was slightly above average and, consequently, anenjoyable time was scraped together from the visit overall. Read more
Stopped here for lunch on our way home from Utica. Right off the 90 interstate, so convenient for us. Even though we came during... a Bills game, it felt like we still had space and weren't sardines. The service was excellent. Attentive but not overwhelming.Menu had update from what's online but still lots of good options. The Mac n cheese was so delicious and creamy..will rememberthis as a good place to stop on my travels. Read more
First photo is my steak salad from a year ago. Second photo is the steak salad I had yesterday that cost $21. They literally cut... a head of lettuce in half and served it with cold, over done steak (asked for medium well). Not only was it a workout to cut thewhole head of lettuce, it just wasn’t good and definitely not worth $21. I am thankful we had a nice waiter that removed thissalad from the bill. I also had a small mixed drink, the strawberry lemonade spritzer. It cost $10 and tasted like children’smedicine. The only decent thing I consumed, was the chicken pot pie soup. The flavor was good but the pastry in the soup wasover cooked and chewy. I’m very disappointed with the pricing and quality of the food. Used to be a much better and one of ourfavorite places to dine. Unfortunate. Read more
Great atmosphere, good food, a little pricey. Daily deals. Pretzel sticks were delicious and fresh. Would recommend
