On September 3rd, 2022, I ordered two Lucca (pepperoni) pizzas and the equivalent to a meat lover?s for $90+. The meat lover?s... pizza was given to us burnt and the Lucca pizzas had a potent flavor where it seems the cook had a heavy hand with someseasoning. Considering that this was the most expensive pizza I have ever had, I was more than disappointed with the poorexecution of quality ingredients. I don?t believe I will ever go again. Read more

On a bright Thursday afternoon. No one sitting inside, terrace almost full, two tables we?re available outside, the waitress... asked me to sit inside alone because the square tables would be used to accommodate couples or 4 guest parties? Really cute little place! Firstly, love the outdoor area. It is the perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. They have a lot of... drink options (a lot of beer especially) and the food is good! The wings are my favorite. I do wish they had a few more healthyoptions for food, but when I want wings and want to sit outside, I will definitely go to Lucca! Read more

Lucca's is one of our favorite wood fired pizza places in the area. The dough is light and with the right amount of char from... the oven. The toppings are generous. Our go-to is the roasted pear salad to start with two 10" pies. They got down tooeasily. I must comment about the cannoli though. I'm not certain it is a standard menu item, but it is the closest I've had towhat my Sicilian grandmother used to make. A home run there! Read more

We tried out Lucca last weekend. The service was excellent, super friendly, accommodating and fast. The pizza is prepared with... care, but it wasn?t my favorite: too much cheese and the crust was crispy but dense and dry. From pictures and from other tablesit seems that the cheese thing is just how they do their pizza, I?m assuming it?s how people in that area like it, but it wasunnecessarily cheesy for me. We?d definitely go again but we?d definitely ask for less cheese. The dough to me seemedunderfermented and cooked in an oven that wasn?t hot enough, I?m not sure if that?s the case, but it certainly wasn?t airy andbubbly which are the signs of properly fermented and properly cooked pizza dough. Maybe it was just that one time but that?s allI have to go by. The real MVP of the meal were the wings. Rarely are restaurant wings this juicy, they were perfectly cooked.The sweet and spicy sauce was great also. In sum, I think Lucca is a great option in the area, but I?ve had many betterprepared pizzas elsewhere, including in the finger lakes. I?d go again to give the pizza another shot, because they obviouslycare about delivering a good product, but what I?d be looking forward to would be the wings. Read more

We love this place! The last 2 Friday nights, we have eaten at Lucca Wood Fired Pizza. It?s such a cute little place. With a... great beer selection. Fabulous pizzas and relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious. Last Friday we each ordered our ownpizza, because we both wanted a different kind. Both were delicious. We also got the boneless wings which were SUPER yummy. Thisweekend we ordered 1 LARGE pizza. The meatball Pizza! The meatball pizza was also super delicious. It?s the best that you cancreate your own, or modify something on their menu (which is what we did). But what I like even more, is the perfect consistencyto the crust. Not to thin, not to thick. And just the right amount of crunch, to the crust. Their red sauce is also Excellent.Great place! Will definitely be going back. I can see myself as a regular here! Yum yum! Read more

So good! The chef was making the dough in the kitchen and it definitely tasted fresh! We ordered two pizzas, posted along with... the review. And cannolis for dessert. It was rather large so put group of 4 shared two of them. We were only visiting New Yorkbut I would go back if I had the chance! Read more
