Is it just me or is the size of the bacon and sausage getting smaller with every passing year? Check it out for yourself next... time you get it, dont take my word for it. They charged me $0.99 for an extra slice of bacon on the "All Canadian Special". Puttogether these 3 slices of bacon looked like they were chopped out of a single slice of bacon we buy from our local grocerystore. Will I have breakfast for $12 per serving, going forward, from A&W? I think not! If I had a option to give zero stars, Iwould. Pathetic! Read more
I visited Bolen Books inside the Hillside Shopping Center on the 23rd of November at 9:10AM to buy my children's Christmas... presents. Opening time was 9:30AM, and I walked around the food court for a minute. I found out that A&W was offering a $1coffee, so I ordered a cup of coffee at the counter. I said "Can I ask for a $1 coffee?" and the cashier asked "small?regular?". I replied "Regular black, please". She said "it's $1.05" and I handed her a $5 bill. But the change she gave me was$1.95, not $3.95. She turned around and was making the coffee, and as soon as she handed me the coffee, I showed her the changein my hand and said the amount was not correct. She said that she doesn't have any change right now, and she told me to wait togive me the change when she gets it from the next guest. I was bewildered and embarrassed, but the sudden situation kinda forcedme to wait. The next customer placed an order and paid by his card. I took photos of my coffee and change with my iPhone justin case. But as soon as she saw me taking pictures, she said she just got the change and gave me $2. The next customer paid witha card a second ago, how did she get cash change? I was a bit dumbfounded and angry, but there were other customers in a longline and I didn't want to start an argument so early in the morning, so I just sat in the food court and waited and entered thebookstore. I don't know if she tried to deceive me because I look stupid and am an immigrant who doesn't speak English well,but I hope she doesn't do that in the future. So disappointed!! Read more
I don't often eat fast food but I was so pleased that I ate at A&W in the Hillside Mall food court this afternoon! The cashier... was friendly which is always nice but, best of all, my meal was delicious. I had the Teen Burger combo with onion rings. Myteen burger was made exactly as requested (no pickles, no onions) and it was hot and fresh with a nice thick slice of tomato anda generous portion of crisp lettuce (sounds yummy, right...it was!). The onion rings were also hot and fresh and cooked toperfection!...melt in your mouth good! I would highly recommend a stop at the A&W the next time you're at the Hillside Mall...Iwill definitely go back! Read more

The staff at Hillside Mall A&W from the front end to the back of the kitchen are fantastic ! They always friendly towards me... and makes sure I have a good experience in the service they provide,especially Al Li She always have a friendly smile and makessure I'm happy with my order.
