Casual and laidback place to grab a few drinks and bites with friends. The menu caters to different tastes, and their special... drinks are a hit. We went when they had a vanilla grapefruit margarita that went down well with the whole table. Had this placerecommended to me from a list of best nachos in Victoria. Cenote definitely ranks high on the nacho list. The chips stand up andare miles ahead of big name prepackaged stuff. We got a good covering of toppings and the salsa was a standout. Nachos are one of the worst I've had. Cheese not melted and not enough to cover even half the nachos. $21 with a little chicken,... salsa and sour cream not worth it. Happy hour online says tacos but when we got there it was flatbreads. Disappointed. Read more
Cozy little bar tucked away under the stairs in the heart of downtown. tasty cocktails and great atmosphere. Jess was our server... and she went above and beyond to make sure we're having a great time. Great place for a date or to catch up with a friend. Read more

This place always seem busy no matter what day of week it is which is neat to see. I don?t often go bars but this place made... come back which is rare for me because I find drinks are good and service is good. The food looks good and also taste good whichis helps me come back to them. I would highly recommend checking out this place when you come to Victoria. The only thing thatshould be improvement is more space to help reduce the wait time for customers which may make more busy in long run. Read more

Friendly staff, delicious food, large portions, and reasonable prices. All the things you?ll find at Cenote. The interior is... cozy and makes for a great place to get together with friends for an after work drink and dinner. Their hotdogs are a deliciousoption for lunch as well.
