It was a bit confusing since I was trying to meet someone here and we hadn't specified which side. Gallery on the right and cafe... on the left. Food looked delicious. Drinks are meant for true leaf and bean connoisseurs. Intimate setting but not too dark.Limited seating but maybe gallery is meant to accommodate more. Wish two parts weren't divided. Read more

ACCESSIBILITY: A standard push door on a sloping grade. Wood floors and free standing tables and chairs. The bathrooms are along... the far wall with a narrow entrance. The corner bathroom features a push door and low countertop. STAFF: Friendly and polite. FOOD: Donuts are good, the cinnamon bun is amazing! The coffee is a little fruity and a little tart, not quite a robust fruitprofile. Read more

Although it's a favourite of a friend of mine, I'm on the fence about it. The interior no longer re-purposes items for tables... and has gone more conservative, in my mind losing what charm I thought it had, if you don't mind that kind of thing. It doesn'thave the chain-store feel about it. The prices are a bit on the high side compared to most cafes in the area. A donut will setyou back 2 or 3 bucks apiece. Not as busy as I've seen it in the past, compared to my latest visit. They opened up seatingnext door and have some tables out on the very sloped sidewalk (but not so much you fall off your chair). There's nothing ofinterest to look outside and you're on the sunny side of the street so summer days will be tough without some shade (which itdoesn't have). Read more

First time at the downtown location at 9am on a Saturday. Me and 10 other people. The coffee is, as usual, very good. And the... service prompt. There are 2 washrooms. The music is very loud, but to the barista?s credit, he said they do offer a quiet roomfor coffee consumption. Very nice. It looked as if they?d had this question before. All in all a great visit. Thank you. Read more

The best locally roasted and brewed coffee in Victoria. Amazing house made treats including artisan donuts. Even a gluten free... donut?!?!?! Also, the decor and atmosphere is unique and fun. Each location is different but they all play vinyl records allday. Read more
