We have lived in Victoria for 15years, and it never ceases to surprise me with the many different places of interest and... surprises it comes up with! At ninety, I really enjoy exploring the many facets of the City on my mobility scooter, courtesy ofJames Bay New Horizons. It gives me a whole new World to explore. The coffee and food is good but the guy working the deli was not the best lol. He was super rude and doesn?t communicate when... you wait at the door and arbitrarily closes the kitchen at times not listed on their menu and speaks to you rudely when you arereasonably confused about it. This isn?t my first time experiencing this guy acting in this sort of way too and I?ve definitelyseen him treat other customers poorly as well. Read more
A nice place and with good drinks. Both my partner and I got tea lattes and they were well made and delicious, the two people... working the barista counter were very nice as well. I?ve also ordered from the kitchen previously and had good experiences withthe staff. I don?t know if I?ll go back though, my partner and I were sitting on the covered patio to wait out the rain a bitand we were chatting, the patio had been about half full and after a while the other folks around us had left. An employee Ihadn?t seen earlier came out and started loudly packing up the patio furniture. I like to give people the benefit of the doubtbut it felt super passive aggressive and seemed very intentional to make us leave. (Like every time I would try to talk he wouldscrape the chairs around on the concrete much louder than necessary, hard to misread that as it being a coincidence) If he hadused his words and said the patio was closing we would?ve happily moved on, but it was also only 2:20pm and their hours saidthey?re open until 4 (also when we walked back to our car about an hour later I thought I still saw customers inside?) so I?munsure what the rush was to make us leave other than we were an inconvenience to him at that moment. It was very weird andunwelcoming. Normally I wouldn?t complain about this kind of thing but we were having a nice time and it definitely ruined theexperience. Read more

Great place to stop, enjoy the views, and get a cup of coffee in Vic West. We stopped for a little more at their deli where we... got a meat and cheese plate and a couple of beers. The meat and cheese plate was just ok and could have been a little larger forthe price. Read more
