I got 2 large pizzas for take out on a Saturday night - one barbeque chicken and the other four cheese. I ordered online. The... pizzas were good, no complaints there. The pick-up experience was a bit off-putting, though. When ordering online, I had toenter my name separately from my credit card information/billing address. I use a different name than the one on my card. When Iarrived to pick up the food, they couldn't identify my order by the name I provided, and instead had to use the one on mycard. Why did I have to enter my name, if it was never going to be used? It just seems a little weird. Read more
OK...wow... I didn't feel like cooking, and eventually thought about ordering pizza. Previously, I've ordered from Oregano's,... which was great. This evening, though, they weren't answering the phone... That turned out to be the best thing ever, because Iremembered Fernwood Pizza, and I swear, this might just be the best pizza I've ever eaten. I ordered the Cecconi, and while thetoppings were a perfect combination of flavours and absolutely delicious, the crust was the standout star. Most pizza placesseem to consider the crust an afterthought, but these guys put it front and centre. I'll definitely be ordering from here again. Read more
Ingredients on the pizza taste fresh and amazing, especially the mushrooms. By the slice is quick and easy for lunch.
Really nice pizza for a decent price - I had a small Sausage pizza for $15, could definitely make two meals of it. Toppings were... all flavourful with a generous portion of fennel sausage, and the unique inclusion of hickory sticks for all-around crunch.Order time was accurate and pizza was piping hot when I picked up. Hands down the BEST pizza in Victoria. It's honestly not even close. Their Hawaiian pizza... omg... it is heavenly. I usually... try something I haven't had before and I am never disappointed. Just the opposite, in fact. Every one of their pizzas is betterthan (and more creative) than anywhere else. I will cry if Fernwood Pizza ever closes. Read more
Great little local pizza joint, located in the heart of Fernwood. I gotta say that the reason I truly love the pizza is the... crust, I mean it's like none other out there. Fresh toppings and quick cook times whenever I order take out. I would recommendtho eating in so you get the pizza right outta the oven piping hot. I always reheat it when I get it as take out and it's stilldelishes. My favorite is the ham and pineapple and the pepperoni mushroom. Read more
Awesome pizza. Ordered for my family while we were visiting Victoria. Had 1 large pepperoni mushroom and 1 large cheese... delivered. More than enough for everyone with leftovers. Quality of the food was exceptional. Loved the pizza crust. It wascrisp and chewy and not greasy! Toppings were delicious. It was a little expensive compared to other pizza delivery restaurantsbut in this instance you are getting what you pay for. I would recommend. Read more
We had the Coconut Curry pizza which was very creative and delicious. They changed the recipe to feature eggplant and bamboo... shoots instead of what is currently described on the menu. No disappointment there though. The pizza was so savoury and good. Wehad the Pesto Caprese as well and the oven dried tomatoes were really nice. Their crust is kind of pastry-ish too which wasunique and very tasty. Gets pretty busy around dinner time. We had to wait about an hour for take out on a week night so I wouldadvise calling in ahead of time. Highly recommend this place. Read more
