I just want to start off by saying that as an international student from India, I have always found home in Four Spice. BUT... LATELY, their wicked customer service has become a reason for my ill health. Since last two times, the old man has beendeliberately messing my orders. Not always am I in the position to tip, and last two times I couldn't tip. He would ask thespice level, to which I would say "mild", but the food would be so spicy that on two occasions I have ended up with stomachpains, vomiting and diarrhea. I have had to throw the leftovers and as an Indian, I do not take well to that. The couple isnothing but nice. Never had any issues with them. However, their old man is vicious. To be honest, the garlic naan bread is too chewy and dry, not garlicy or buttery enough, and the pieces of chicken in the butter... chicken are too big, you could also use higher quality chicken, the gravy for the butter chicken is quite good though. I'veordered from here a few times and it's always been average. Read more
Authentic feeling. Delicious food. Good portions. Best Indian food in Victoria??? Maybe... Great place for takeout.

Such great food!.. Be advised: it's take-out only! No dining allowed due to lack of washrooms. Hope they eventually do some... renovations to make it possible. Read more
One of the best restaurants in the town for Indian food, if not the best! Closest that it can get to authenticate Indian Samosa.... Must try for a samosa lover!! Chole bhature were delicious and the portion size is also nice. Disappointed with the veg noodlesaka Chowmien, as they were too sweet. Overall, very happy with the quality and taste of food. Very tasty and authentic Indian food. Seemed rather expensive at $86 before tip for takeout compared to other local Indian... restaurants. Really liked the Aloo Gobi. Also got the mainstays of Butter Chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh - both very good but theButter Chicken was mostly sauce with the odd piece of chicken. The Dal Tadka was very soupy. These mains were accompanied byplain Naan and Mango Lassis. I wouldn't get the Paneer Pakora again but would opt for a different paneer dish. Biggestcomplaint is every dish was served in smallish takeout bowls that were heavy on sauces and lacked meat and/or vegetables. Read more
We ordered a hot spicy butter chicken, we really liked it!, my wife said "it touched her soul". It was very good and very spicy
