Not going to lie, I had high hopes for this place. I've been following them for quite a while, but had never had the opportunity... to eat there. Well, thanks to the pharmacy giving out covid and flu shots, i decided to pop in for lunch. I had the lunchsashimi and my wife had the bento box... which she though was "just ok" Now, the sashimi... It too was just ok. The pieceswere HUGE! Like, way too big to enjoy. The meat was clean, it had great texture, and vibrant colour. Very pleasing to theeye. Sushi was ok. Beef bento box Teriyaki sauce was pretty the highlight for myself.

Went there a couple of times for lunch. Decent. Decided to go for dinner. BAD decision. NO service at all. The waitress pointed... a table for us. Then Nothing. After waited for a while we had to stand up and asked the sushi chef for service. Then still nowater or tea. We then asked the second waitress. To put in context, it is not busy. Only 3 tables! And there are twowaitresses!! Then finally tea and food came. The Roll was made uneven like an amateur. About $30 for this dish and I only got atiny dipping bowl of soy sauce. And guess what, you can not pour the soy sauce yourself. The waitress pour it for you to rationit. Then when it?s gone we stood up and begged for the second pour and the waitress was not happy. No one asked us how is ourfood or if we need anything. The two waitresses just stood near the sushi making table chatting with the chef. We stood up yetagain and walked to the waitresses to get their attention for bill. When heard about our complaints, the waitress just told meto go write a bad review as she does not even care. Wow! July 16, 2022 Great quality and worth every dollar! I got the chirashi don and assorted tempura, I was so stuffed! I thought... the cjirashi don would be small, but no it was HUGE! Great assortment of sashimi, more than I have seen at any other Japaneserestaurants. It was fresh! The assorted tempura was fried perfectly, it also includes fish as well, super tasty. Incredible sushi experience. My partner said ?this is the best yam tempura roll I?ve ever had in my life? after he commented... that I was ordering boring sushi. The aesthetics are just as good as the food. Nice patio setting in what feels like an outdoormall. Service was prompt and friendly.
