This is my go to Japanese grocery store in Victoria. Its aisles are tight, the store is often busy, and the prepared food sells... out occasionally. But, it is still worth going down. Best take away sushi option in Victoria without having to pay "island tax". They get pretty thin on stock around 5 so if you're... picking up dinner best to do it early and fridge it till you're ready. Always super fresh and great selection of all thestandard popular rolls and bowls on top of a big selection of Japanese grocery items you won't get from takeout at a restaurant.Only reason I didn't go 5 star was the hours are pretty tight to pick up dinner if you don't eat early. Parking here is scary. As we drove in, a pedestrian was on her phone and walking behind a car and we didn?t see them and they... almost walked in front, so be extra cautious parking here!!! The Sushi we purchased felt super fresh and the items and pricesare reasonable!
