I love this place! This is probably the best ramen place in Victoria and I don?t mind driving 30+ minutes to go there. The... noodles and broth are to die, for but I think about their ramen egg A LOT and I can?t get over it. They also have really fundrinks. And the staff is always pleasant. I definitely recommend it for a casual date night. Read more

Service: great (1/1 star) Food: below average (1/3 stars) Price/Value/Ambience: (1/2 star out of 1) The service is great.... People are friendly, reasonably attentive. No complaints there. The place is bright and clean. Menus is via a QR code scanwhich is fine but I would suggest that they include pictures on their menu for the ramen challenged. The food was adisappointment. I got the Tonkotsu and I felt the flavor profile lacked umami. It was also way too salty. The noodles weretypical and the toppings, ramen egg and pork belly, were nicely done. However, for me, ramen is about the broth and noodles. They missed on the broth. The price is also on the high side. I was in Vancouver last week and ate Tonkotsu Ramen at a place atMetrotown. That ramen was lower cost, better dressed, and more importantly, the broth was much more flavorful. Read more

Interesting Canadian take on Japanese cuisine. Very tasty with high quality ingredients. Prices were good, service was great.... Will likely return next time I'm in Victoria on a cold afternoon. Read more

Good service and soup base was good and flavourful in our Ramen. Cha siu is bit too fatty for my liking and the chicken karage... with just 4 pieces we find small compared to places we normally go to in Richmond/Vancouver. Just a bit on the small size forthe higher price on everything but it?s on a tourist type of area so that?s expected. Read more

I went with my friend and it was really fun! The waitress we had was so nice, very polite and energetic. The food on the other... hand didn't really taste "japanese" but it was still really good. Both me and my friend found that our soup was pretty salty. Not gross salty just "wow this is a bit more salty then expected" still yummy tho. The whole vibe was amazing. Read more

The place had a line up outside?so we get the impression it was great. I wouldn?t say it is a little over rated. Certainly... thought the price for a bowl of ramen over priced. Boa was fresh and good. This area is somewhat touristy and perhaps the reasonfor the premium $$ Read more

This was the most excellent ramen experience I have ever had. We came back a second time and it was just as good. We have been... told that this is the best ramen in town and I would have to agree. Make sure and add the molten egg - you won?t regret it. Read more
