Absolutely delicious, which is stunning considering the massive menu! I love the gozen boxes, so fantastic to have that little... variety plate. I will say - the tantanmen had me fighting for my life with the heat, so I?d recommend caution there. The sushiis always terrific. Read more
Gozen has a massive menu that stretches across a wide spectrum of Japanese cuisine! Overall an excellent place to... dine. Personal I would order the rolls. With so many to choose from, it would have to take a couple of visits to try them all.Their prices are fair, averaging around 8-17 dollars, the fancier the rolls the pricier it gets. I would highly recommend therolls with mango! It?s also Vegetarian. Surreal atmosphere and friendly service makes for a great time, I will definitely becoming back! Read more
One of the better places we had dinner while at Victoria. Prices were slightly higher than your usual Japanese place in... Vancouver but the service and food quality reflected the prices. We ordered the dynamite roll, California maki, and spicy tunaroll. All were excellent. We also ordered the Yakisoba which I personally found a tad salty but the wife loved it. Recommendyou call ahead and make a reservation as we tried to call and they said they were full and only took walk ins. And we got luckywhen we got there. There?s also plenty of parking around the restaurant. It?s kid friendly where the provide either a boosterseat or a normal kids chair. Read more
The food is great. Super tasty and the portions generous. The price is very fair for the quality of the food. I liked it... enough that I came back the next day for lunch because I wanted to try other items they have on their menu. The presentation isreally nice. The soup was fantastic, the fish and salads are also very good. If you like Japanse food and are in Victoria, Idefinitely recommend you try this place out. We were served by 2 sister and they were so sweet. Made our experience that muchmore enjoyable. Read more
