Beautiful presentation. We went there for Valentine’s Day and we were pleasantly surprised by how much work and dedication... they put into this set menu. Their brunch is also fantastic and I highly recommend it if you want to spend a bit less. Read more
There’s always a lineup to get in. Wait wasn’t too long, 10-15 minutes. Servers are nice and welcoming. Once you are seated,... you have to go to the counter to order and pay for your meal. This method doesn’t really give you the after option of tippingthe servers for the service. Has a nice happy family café feel to it. Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review! This is our go to for a quality brunch in the greater Victoria... area. The service is good and the people who work here really know their food. The dishes are consistent every. single. time.Their hot sauce is also house-made and amazing. Food here is world class and after having lived in big cities all my life, Iwould say that this is comparable. Hard to find a place in Victoria of this standard and worth the wait (and the drive out) ifthere is one. Read more
This restaurant is exceptional! My only criticism is that they do not have a tasting menu, but it is certainly understood when... the meal arrives....so much care goes into the presentation that a tasting menu may be difficult, however, it would be welcomedbecause ALL dishes were fantastic and left me wanting to "eat the menu / taste all items" Photo's are of the Salmon - dijon andcrispiness were perfection; Pork belly and vegetable with a hint of mint was a nice surprise; the Duck which I didn't get to trybecause my son ate it too quickly. Service was also exceptional. We were visiting my Son and wife [we live in Toronto] and wecommented that this restaurant would entice me to move to the area!! Well done! Read more
We found this place randomly when looking for some breakfast, and what a little gem this is! First of all, all the staff we... encountered were all very friendly and warm. This cafe with a casual vibe has an appetizing brunch menu, serving elevated,unpretentious, wholesome & hearty food, with subtle African flares. They also offer a good selection of vegetarian options, andthe coffee was great too! Their dinner menu looks fantastic as well, especially after reading all of the other Googlereviews—can’t wait to try it out next time I visit the island! Read more
