Super knowledgeable staff who are very friendly. Would definitely recommend it as a place to hang with friends for a few hours... playing games for any interests. Drinks are available with a small beer selection, food menu is pretty bare bones but thereare snacks. Would go again nice space and they take care of the games, keeping them all fully laminated so they don'tdeteriorate and get sticky over time. Many games available to play that are out of print. Visiting this board game Cafe is always a highlight of a trip to Victoria, we've been coming here for years with a "hiatus" due... to a global pandemic... But in our absence the Cafe has continued to thrive and their playable game selection, after a smallcover charge, is excellent mix of kids games, family games, and deeper strategy games. There is plenty of room to spread out andenjoy them with friends and family. They have a large selection of snacks, drinks, i e cream and sandwiches for purchase of youget hungry as well. They also have a wide selection of new games to purchase, enjoy that exchange rate if you're American. 1st time going to a Board Game Cafe, I was a bit skeptical if it was something I would enjoy. There were 6 of us, and we had a... blast! Super fun experience if you go with the right people. We were able to test out some games before deciding to buy it. The staff... and participants are friendly, the food is good, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Be prepared for your seat to get a bitincomfortable after a while, though. Read more

We had lots of fun here, $24 for a family of 4 as we ended up staying almost 4 hours playing 4 different games. Stayed longer... than we expected! Definitely worth your time and money! Ended up purchasing a $70 game thats cheaper and out of stock on Amazonfor our trip to port renfrew. Read more

This is a great venue for fun. There is an extremely large selections of games that can be played, but if you are not sure what... to pick they have very knowledgeable staff who are able to pick games based on your group and provide easy instructions on howto play. There are two sections, one of which include a bar so that you can enjoy a wobbly pop while gaming. The food is by nomeans gourmet, but it is made fresh and the staff are very accommodating to customizing your order. I ordered the Grilled Cheesesandwich with every type of cheese they had, which included brie. ???? It tasted great, but could have used a little salt tobring out the flavour of the cheese.
