Ordered online so there was no confusion. Still got the wrong order. Bland food cold when It got here. Resent the item missed... and it was still wrong! Offered me credit but I won?t be back here again. Not the first time I have had issues hereunfortunately but it will be the last. Thanks no thanks. Honestly the most delicious Chinese food I've had since moving to Canada, of course Westernized but that didn't stop me from... enjoying the lunch specials. The server was attentive and kind. I'm hopeful this place will stick around for years to come. Wejust ordered take out because I loved it so much the other day. I think the downside is that prices are a bit higher. Ordered egg rolls, honey garlic pork, and sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was the only edible part of our... meal. The honey garlic pork tasted either very over cooked or cooked over a week ago - extremely stale. The worst part of myexperience was the egg rolls. DO NOT ORDER THEM. I was appalled when I took a bite and found what appeared to be pineapple andmayo - no other filling. This is not an egg roll and there is no description explaining this monstrosity on their menu. I?vebeen to some bad Chinese food restaurants before, but this is by far the worst experience I?ve ever had at any Chinese foodrestaurant. Read more
We keep on passing this restaurant many times during the many trips to sites and lunches etc. So we had to try it. The sign on... the building said buffet restaurant, but it wasn't. Maybe it's because of the pandemic they cut this out. So, we asked aboutthe buffet with we don't do it. Same with the next and next and so on people coming in. We almost walked out but lucky wedecided to stay. We picked a number of items that looked good to us, which included hot and sour soup. We didn't realize thatthey served all items at once. We were disappointed at this. When we said something about this, they said that people like beingserved all at once. We suggestion is order your soup. Then order what you want next. This way you can eat the way you want. Orall at once, if that's the way you like it. We ended up taking the soup home with us for a later time. Plus some of theleftovers. Maybe tomorrow's lunch? All food are delicious! My husband and I ordered wonton soup twice!
Not impressed with this place at all. Ordered a dinner for 4 since our usual spot was closed this evening. The chow mein was... half decent, not good enough to save the meal though. The so called egg rolls were not even close to what an egg roll shouldbe(some kind of white sweet sauce inside and no veggies). The fried rice was very plain and dry. Sweet and sour pork tastedokay but it seemed old and off as well. Cashew chicken and veggies was okay. Finally the ginger beef, the reason we lovegetting Chinese takeout (usually) was horrible. First off the smell was not something you'd normally start eating, then thetaste was so far off it was actually shocking. It tasted stale, burnt, old and just wrong. It is a shame it was takeout. If wewere in for a sit down meal I would have simply walked out and left it after tasting how bad the ginger beef was.
