I am sitting here now, catching up on reviews and loving this place. The staff are warm and welcoming. I love the pour over... coffee, fresh when you order. There are multiple fresh food options of pastries and sandwiches. This is obviously a localfavorite, as I have watched multiple people walk in and the staff knows their names and drinks, this is lovely to see, to knowas a visitor, that they take care of customers and they keep coming back. There is ample seating and Wi-Fi to work. The place isstanding room only at the moment, a good sign of a great place to come. Being right on Government Street this is a greatlocation for tourists and a change from the chain of Starbucks. Read more

Came with four other work colleagues to this place. I've always walked by in passing but hadn't had the chance to try until now;... I have heard about their Vancouver locations, not realizing they have a few locations on the Island. Staff are super friendlyand despite high volumes of orders managed to crank out real fast and good. I tried the Killer Mocha and it tasted real goodwith the cute simple latte art. Came here on a early Monday morning. Had the Cortado and lemon cake slice. Delicious! Staff was amazing and so friendly.

Purchased medium hot chocolate, small Cappuccino with dairy alternatives, one chocolate w/ marshmallow cookie and one gluten... free chocolate chip cookie. Everything tasted good, and there was sitting area inside and outside the cafe but not much. It wasa bit noisy (kinda like a Starbucks with the music in background) but nothing crazy. Even though this is a smaller company, someof their treats were a bit overpriced but they were well made, had good texture and flavour, and the gluten free cookie wasactually moist which is always a plus! This nicely presented espresso cafe is wonderful! The lemon pound cake was dense a buttery with the right amount of sweetness... and tartness. The London fog was strong enough to taste the tea but not overwhelming sweet. No complaints with decaf latte withpumkin spice syrup. Definitely will visit again when I am in town. We went a second day in a row and pleasantly surprised with ashorter wait line. Coffees and pastries were delicious. We will come here again! Read more
