I have lived in Victoria for 40 yrs. I must say, this Chinese food experience was the most enjoyable I have had in Victoria.... Ever! I try not to go out of my way to give not so good reveiws but sometimes i feel its neccecary.... the customer service seem good... and food taists good.... but i spent almost $13 on a combo and... long story short the meat portions were BEYOND chincey...please add more or charge less.... went again 2 years later. Picked up a combo plate and spring rolls to share and found it to be plenty of food, well priced, and freshly made. Chicken chow... mein was tasty, not too greasy, and was plentiful. The chicken balls were nice and crispy and not over battered, but there wereonly four smaller balls. The beef dish was tasty but again I felt there was too little on the plate. We chose to order dinner from Rainbow Chinese Restaurant last night (based on recommendations from friends) and we were... extremely impressed! The food was delivered piping hot and quickly! Ordered meal for 2, chicken chow main, beef brocolli and sweet and sour pork, with spring rolls, and honestly it is almost half... empty, when u drop $$55 on Chinese food at least it's hould arrive full. Never ordering from this place again. Read more
