Great pizza! Came out of the kitchen so hot it burned the roof of my mouth!
I?ve had Romeo?s pizza probably 50+ times. Recently, I began a vegan diet. I?ve tried ordering vegan pizza a bunch of different... ways. They were all awfully full of tomatoes ???? on tomato sauce with dollops of tomato sauce. Honestly it was kind of grossand I really feel like the chefs put all their hate into the pizza. Don?t believe me? Ask them to make and eat one. Aftertelling the server on the phone I?m giving Romeos just one more chance, they served the pizza with a piece of shrimp ???? on thepizza. I asked for your best pizza, Romeos, and you served me a vegan pizza with shrimp on it. Because your food has fallen inquality over the last 20 years and is gross and made improperly, I?m out and won?t be eating your food again. Good food and drinks. Appearance was pleasing and service was attentive. The pasta and pizza feels like it has more of a Greek... heritage than Italian but still fresh and tasty. Read more
We've been on the road as a family for 10 days and this was the best restaurant we ate at the entire trip. Our server Colleen... was phenomenal! She was kind and welcoming and we felt like old friends from the moment she approached our table. The pasta wasamazing and there was plenty of sauce. Everyone enjoyed our meals and the cost was completely reasonable. We even took a pizzahome and it was delicious! We loved Romeos and will make this a regular spot now that we have settled in Victoria. Read more
The food is always excellent in quality. We always get the gluten free pizza to be "easy done" so the crust isn't burnt (tricky... with that dough) and they get it right every single time. The staff at the takeout window are always friendly and courteous,too, despite the tough conditions of the pandemic. Read more
Staff working closing last night were amazing. We were late picking up our take out order and they were so accommodating waiting... for us. When we arrived they were super polite and friendly, food was also excellent. I took my mother out for lunch and asked her where she wanted to go and she said she hadn?t been to Romeo?s in a long time. I... asked if she had a preference to which location and she said the Hillside restaurant because she liked the atmospherethere. Due to Covid protocols we had to wait outside until the hostess came to get us and take us to our table. Considering thehoops restaurants have to jump through to remain open during these times of pandemic uncertainty, we appreciated the extra stepsthe staff took to ensure everyone?s safety! My mother had their Buffalo chicken wrap but without the hot sauce as she doesn?thave much tolerance to spicy food. I had their fish tacos. The food was excellent. Portions were surprisingly generous, the foodwas fresh and hot as very flavorful. It had been a long time since I?d been to any Romeo?s but this experience had me wonderingwhy because the overall experience was extremely enjoyable. Read more
