This place has so much to offer. Coffee shop, restaurant, and delicatessen all in one spot. In my opinion, best drip in town.... Real dark coffee flavour, not fruity at all. Great coffee of course as the reviews say, but a few places have good coffee. What sets Shatterbox apart is the new inviting... open space with places to sit/get some work done, the incredible healthy and good food which very few cafes offer, and thepersonal service (both the owners and staff are always friendly). As someone who is too lazy to cook I can survive off themuntil 5pm at least! Read more
Was given the wrong meal but they corrected it immediately and offered a treat on the house while waiting for my Wanda waffle.... Really appreciated the gestures and the food was spectacular and worth the extra wait. The potatoes were so good! I would haveloved to try the regular eggs Benny but I didn?t see any options for just the classic ham,egg,sauce on an English muffin.Regardless, I look forward to returning and trying other meals! This breakfast made our day! Everything is perfect about this place: location, interior, coffee, service, and food. OMG! Even... though it may seems that there are not a lot of options to choose from, all of them are very different and you will totally findyours. My avocado toast was not only very tasty, but also incredibly nutritious. If we ever come back to Victoria, this will beour Breakfast Place! Thank you guys! You ROCK! Read more
I've seen the other location in passing but I didn't know they had a location inside The Hudson. My boyfriend recommended this... place when I threw my back out this morning so I'm very thankful he suggested giving this place a try. All of the staff werehospitable and took the time to bring the food to us (we're seated almost halfway in the public market), making sure we have allthe condiments needed. With the food and my pain medication finally kicking in, I feel fresh as a daisy to conquer the day.???? Read more
Shatterbox is awesome! The staff are so friendly and everything is so good. Vegan and gluten free options are great, no idea... about drinks as I didn?t try any. The vegan option for the benny is really good! The chocolate espresso beans are delicious. Read more
This place was great for a quick pick me up with espresso that packs a punch. I find half the places serve coffee that doesn?t... have a strong enough flavour, but that wasn?t the case here. I ordered their oat milk cortado and it was creamy, but strong -had great flavour. Price was also reasonable, around $4. Staff was nice, it?s a shame that I went when they were near closing.They also sold a handful of vegan products. Read more
