I feel the need to shout this from the roof tops!!! This was an excellent meal with excellent service. I can’t believe I spend... as much time as I do in Victoria, with parents who live here and I didn’t know about Sherwood until today. I met a friendhere for coffee and was so happy to see that they offer coconut milk. The last of the plant based milks that are offered atcoffee shops. I took a peek at the dinner menu and talked my dad into trying it out for dinner (my last meal with him before Ifly out). First of all we had THE best waitress/server!! Ally was bubbly, informative, and attentive. She knew the menu, madeamazing suggestions and took the time to get to know us. It’s suggested that the plates are for sharing so that’s exactlywhat we did. Cauliflower steak, sardines, beetroot salad and mushroom calamari. Fresh, delicious, inventive andbeautiful. Cocktails were amazing as well. I had the humble bee and asked for it to be less sweet than normal. The bartenderpersonally came over and made sure that I didn’t need anymore locally sourced honey. The 4 ingredients were all grown within4km of the restaurant. Fabulous!!! Victoria needs more creative, inspired restaurants like this one. I will be back for sure. Read more
Great spot for breakfast & brunch! The outdoor seating is great, too. Our server, Jack, was super friendly, and the food and... coffee were both perfect! It made our morning. They have options for vegans - I had the avocado toast, minus the egg, and I gotextra avo in lieu of the egg. I can’t wait to go back & try the Bircher oat bowl next time. Read more
Modern decor, scrumptious plates, and friendly staff - what more could you ask for? The attention to detail at Sherwood is... fantastic - all the way down to the orange peel animals on the mimosas and non-gendered washroom facilities. This is one of mygo-to’s for meeting with couples, vendors, and happy hour. Read more
Had a fantastic, romantic evening at this lovely restaurant. Great ambiance, very cool Industrial decor. The service was... amazing - they asked about dietary restrictions (vegan, celiac) when confirming our reservation over the phone and when wearrived, the staff was knowledgeable and was prepared to discuss/adjust the menu for us. The food was excellent - presentationwas beautiful and the food was delicious. Highly recommend and we will be back. Read more
