Even though this establishment is closest to my work, I WILL NOT be venturing in again! The man behind the counter at 1045am... today refused to acknowledge my presence until I awkwardly had to say hi, then I received a monotone "what do you want?", andafter not listening to a word I said he began making my sub all wrong. I stood there waiting for about ten minutes while the one guy behind the counter took care of the customer before me and a Door... Dash driver. It was finally my turn and conveniently another person appears from the back. The meat portions on the sandwichwere smaller than what I normally get from other Subway?s. What really disappointed me was that the bread was stale. I didn?tget my sandwich toasted, but the bread was crunchier than if it had been toasted. It had probably been baked days prior. Stopped into this location after leaving the VGH ER unit. It was 948 pm so we figured it may not be open but the sign stated... 10pm closing. I walked in, it was empty except a girl sitting behind the counter popped her head up and said ?we are closed? Thefood still visible on the counter. I replied ?it?s say 10 pm? then she replied ?ok we are short staffed? I left the store anddrove down the road to the Subway on Goldstream. I was greeted by Ashby at 954 pm and I told him about what had happened at thelast location on oldIsland highway and asked if it was too late to make me a sandwich. To be honest I really didn't want to go to Subway for a mommy daughter date but that's what she wanted. I found it actually... quite good. They have a lot of different types of sandwiches now on their menu and the staff were really friendly. Other thanthe table not being super clean I liked my sandwich and my daughter was super happy. Not the best subway out there. In quite a bit of a sketchy area and staff are not very polite. They always get my order wrong.... Decor is alright though, and the food hasn't been terrible. Still, I recommend you take your business elsewhere. Read more
