I want to go back and change my other sushi resto reviews to 4 star, because this place hit all the expectations and beyond!... Toro - tuna belly was the best sashimi we had in our lives. Buttery and melt in my mouth. The rolls were exceptional too - Ifound most sushi places in Victoria has good sashimi but not that good rolls; but not this place. Comfortable, homey andwelcoming vibes in the restaurant. The staff seem to enjoy their job and were friendly and fast, too. Not to say how affordablethe meal was - the amount and quality of food we’d get in Toronto would be twice of it. Would recommend 10/10. Read more
I really like this place. I came in, was seated quickly, ordered and got my food with very little wait. The food was delicious,... I've been here a few times and I always enjoy the meals I've had here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great food,great service and great venue. I highly recommend this place for sushi or teriyaki. Read more
Incredibly fresh! Incredibly wonderful! Friends have raved about this place and I understand why. This was by far the freshest... and tastiest sushi I have had in a long time. Sushi Ya, more like Sushi oh heck ya! We had the crunch go go roll which was so yummy! The Canuck’s roll which was massive but... so flavour full! And the Hawaiian roll, omg so many flavours I thought I was in Hawaii for a second! The tuna and salmon sashimiwere also to die for, so smooth and melted in your mouth! The bathroom was also so nice and clean - always a good sign! Read more
