Incredible Chinese food, great service. We had the lamb with cumin (as per the photo), gung po chicken (chicken, red and green... bell peppers, peanuts) and egg fried rice. No it?s not in Chinatown and it?s a spot largely frequented by locals, totally worththe extra five minute walk past China town from the Inner Harbor. Nourishing and Satisfying. Read more
Surprisingly well managed husband and wife team created a Comfy, cozy place to dine alone or with your love ones. I ordered... the simple but difficult to master scramble eggs with tomato sauce. The eggs were cooked separately so the flavors and textureof each ingredients were properly celebrated. My second dish is the slow braised pork spare ribs that was cooked to perfectthen it was tossed in with a tang-ee soy based black pepper sauce. Both dishes were served with generous portion and I had leftover to take it to my hotel. Out of the 5 days on the island, this little place captured my heart with its simple but highlysatisfying dishes. Fantastic! Just had their chowmein and sour soup. The red onions in the chowmein were fantastic, they added so much flavour,... wow! And the hot sour soup is not to hot to handle, and not tart either. The price is as current as any other restaurant andthe place was in fact, cozy. Very clean and the service was friendly and quick on a Tuesday before the dinner rush. Thanks somuch! Read more

We ate there with my partner at one of our lowest times, and The Cozy Place comforted us with delicious food and motivated us... for life. It is extremely hard to find a good Chinese fusion restaurant in Victoria that is not bland or cooked to meet the general... palate. This restaurant could not have been more tastier. The flavors and spices were perfect, this Mom & Pap operation is runmodestly and their passion translates into the rich flavorful dishes they put out. I had the eggplant, tender braised shortribs, sweet n sour boneless, chicken fried rice and garlic shrimp rolls. I can?t wait to go back and try other dishes. Feelfree to ask for more spice if you?re so inclined but everything was cooked perfectly. Read more
Five of us enjoyed dinner for my mom's 89th birthday. The food was absolutely delicious!! Most Chinese food in town is so gluey... and deep-fried. Cozy Place food was fresh and beautifully prepared. The owners were so delightful also, which made for awonderful evening. We will definitely be back. Read more
