We were hungry and we diverted ourselves from our other ideas for lunch in the immediate area. We couldn't decide and there are... quite a few options near that beautiful roundabout fountain, but once we walked by and smelled the Indian food and looked in thewindow at this inviting and surprisingly busy restaurant for a Sunday at noon our choice was made! Service was fantastic and thefood really good (especially the naan), we couldn't finish everything we ordered so we were really pleased to see eco-friendlytakeout containers. Now I know of a great place next time I'm in Langford (I live in Victoria but I didn't want to go to Costcowhile hungry). Thank you to our wait staff and cooks! Read more

I have given this restaurant a pretty fair go before solidifying my opinion. It's a bit run down. Fairly large and echoes a... bit. The servers are friendly but on three occasions have needed a bit of prompting to bring the orders to the table. Theprotein is clearly pre-cooked and held separate from the sauces or soups. That becomes apparent when you order the butterchicken and find that the chicken is much cooler and older than the sauce. I have tasted a few examples of this so not just abad day. This is also another restaurant where Skip The Dishes has changed the whole dining experience. Pretty difficult to bewaiting for food to arrive and watching a steady parade of canvas bags ???? seemingly jumping to the head of the queue. Inshort: The place needs cleaning and remodeling and the staff seriously need some kind of uniform. Training wouldn't hurt. Ownersincluded. To be fair, COVID has had a devastating effect on restaurants but it is up to the business owner to make sure thatthe dining out experience is not adversely affected by the take out side of the business. We visited this resturant based on the reviews and close proximity from our hotel. We really liked the food despite of the mixed... reviews. Food was delicious, server was great. The only thing I didn't like is the old structure smell of this place. Againsince food and service was top notch, I would give them 5 star. I recommend this place to anyone who is near this area andreally looking to get beat Indian food. Read more

Thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. Best we tried in Langford and best Indian in the Victoria area. Recommend the prawn... pakoras, very fresh and extremely tasty. Also, has a very nice patio with a greenery wall, removed from the roadway. Showedup five minutes before closing and they still gave us great service without rushing us. Read more

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The naan was fantastic, and it was probably one of the best butter... chickens that I’ve had in a long time (if not ever). I had a lunch combo that had the aforementioned items, and a coconutvegetable curry that was also good. Everything was piping hot and tasted fresh.
