We were a party of two, for a dinner seating at after 6:00pm. We were given a choice of a table or booth, and we chose the... booth. I ordered a sweet tea and my wife ordered water, which were brought quickly. Our order was taken, me pot roast and mywife had the chicken. Both meals quickly arrived and were of good quality, delicious and filling. After dinner my wife orderedcoffee with a side of milk. She commented that the coffee out of the carafe wasn't very hot. First visit to this location, passing through. The Denny?s was amazing! Such Great food! Denny?s never seems to disappoint me... with their food like IHOP has. Server was mediocre, could?ve been more attentive to his tables however, the whole crew as a teamhelping each other fill drinks and whatnot, amazing to see that kind of team effort! A+. So here in Texas at Dennys. It sure hasn?t started out well. It took almost 15 mins to get drinks. Smh can?t believe it. Worst meal I have ever eaten at a Denny's. I regretted eating there. We will not return. The wild Alaskan salmon was white. The... red skinned potatoes were overcooked. When I got tired of waiting for our ticket to leave I had to yell for waitress who was inkitchen. Restaurant had only 2 tables of couples when we arrived and only 1 when we left. Go anywhere else!!! So I don?t know they were pretty short handed when I went due to the covid virus. So a slow wait might be in store! Also some... of their menu items changed. The pancakes taste more like a funnel cake batter...they don?t seem traditional to me. The clubsandwiches pictured are bigger with different bread but still tasty.
