Wow what a great place. Unassuming and casual environment with a very nice bar. We ordered the shrimp avocado salad and the... ribeye. Everything was amazing. The steak was perfectly done and the salad was a mix of great greens including spinach. From thebar I had a couple of Knobb Creek Old Fashioned, which were expertly made. What a treasure in Victoria! That's what I'm talking about Victoria. Was born in Victoria and raised in Houston. It has been hard to come home and find a... decent steak restaurant that's not a chain. Greek 205 had a great atmosphere, steak that could definitely run with the big boysin Houston, and cold lone stars as well as the Karbach family of brews. Old building had a lot of charm and a nice walk indowntown Victoria after dinner topped it off. Owner and staff were great came to our table and talked Astros for a sec. Greatjob guys! Hands down the absolute BEST steaks in town!!! Sometimes there's a long wait but it is 100% worth every second of wait time.... Their vinaigrette salad dressing has a delicious flavor and tang to it. Bartenders make great drinks. The staff is wonderful andvery attentive. Our favorite place to go for date night and special occasion dinners. Read more
