Was looking for a place that sold menudo so I decided to try this location . The restaurant is located in a business area so its... kinda small ( no big deal ill just take it home ) . We came solely based on the reviews and indeed the tacos de birria are ???? the best in the High Desert! The meat is so juicy... and tender served on 2 tortillas one soft and the outer one with crunchy ends super TASTY with 2 kinds of sauces/chili. Karenour waitress was SUPER efficient & productive considering she was by herself on a Sunday and it was packed. She managed to keepup with all patrons with a smile. Read more
Although the waitress was friendly, she wasn't the best waitress in the world. This is a very casual place and many people go up... to the counter to order so that may be the reason that the service is not the best. I'm very familiar with this location as itused to be a sushi bar and then an Ethiopian restaurant both of which I really liked. This place scores big on flavor andpresentation. My friend Kelly and I both ordered the shrimp enchiladas and they were fantastic! The rice was a little Bland butthe beans had a good amount of cheese on them and were very flavorful and the enchiladas were just to die for! It's a smallplace and only seats 39, the decor is below average and you have to go outside to use the bathroom. We sat and talked for over 2hours and I noticed that it was quite busy even during the off hours between 2:30 and 5. I wish them luck as they've been hereat this location for about two years.
