Everything was so delicious, especially the bread. We loved the bread so much that our waiter sent us home with a bag... full. Cocktails were so yummy. We had the chilled corn soup and lettuce beef wraps for appetizers; so unique. The Australianbeef tenderloin was a little chewier and gamey than we expected but still enjoyable. I loved the soft shell crab dish. Dessertwas a little weak; the blueberry cheesecake was SO good but the blackberry creme brûlée left more to be desired. Service wasimpeccable, top notch. Read more
We expected a lot about the outdoor seating by seeing in pictures. But it is completely opposite and very very simple outside... and not that great as in photos. Inside the restaurant ambience is good. Food tastes good but very expensive for the quantity offood we receive. We received very very less quantity for the price we paid. Also there was no coordination among the waiters. Wefelt really awkward when the waiters come one by one and ask for the same questions and asking for our order. We already placedit with one person, then another person comes and ask for order. It was repeating the entire time we were there and we reallygot frustrated. Impeccable. Friendly, welcoming staff and uncompromising cuisine. The daily Tasting Menu on June 8th was the best meal I have... ever eaten, and the accompanying wine pairings were multifaceted and succinctly expounded upon the themes of every dish. This was my first time visiting Clarity. It was my anniversary and I wanted to try somewhere different. From Start to Finish,... this restaurant was 10/10. The staff are so friendly and nice. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing. But the best of all isthe food…. Absolutely mouth watering. Believe me when I tell you I did not leave a crumb behind on my plates. I had been to Clarity a couple times before and enjoyed both times but it had been a while. On this particular visit I had a... great time. The wine was delicious. I got the antelope just because I have never had antelope before. It was accompanied bywhite asparagus and potatoes. All were delicious. The antelope was cooked perfectly. Dessert was interesting. Quite possiblythe most interesting dessert I have ever had. It was a gluten free almond cake, balsamic caramel, goat cheese mousse, and sweetgarlic ice cream. WHAT???? Sweet garlic ice cream??? Yes, you read that right. It was DELICIOUS!!!! You know that scene inRatatouille where the rat takes a bite of something and there are fireworks going off in his brain? That’s how I felt. Family and I went here for Christmas Eve and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Never heard of this restaurant... prior until we saw it rated as a top 2021 restaurant in NOVA - which now after trying it is well deserved. Service was great,and the food was even better! We didn’t know this, but each daily menu is unique based on the local ingredients they source!Meaning each dish you love may not be there the next time you come… which is just another reason to come back and see what newitem they have created! Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in the area - will definitely come back. If you haven’t beenhere before, I highly recommend you check Clarity out. Read more
