A nice environment place in the inside, my server was great that night. The food in the menu is ok. I ordered the baby back ribs... with fries and coleslaw. As the majority of restaurants chain. Frozen food that they just thrown in a plate, put a pool of BBQsauce and pum! Directly to the oven for several minutes and is done. Wine selection was good, the food at the bar wasn’t thatgreat, but I understand was like 1:00 AM and the kitchen was more than closed. I ordered the sliders and something else. Sliderswere totally cold, but understand the kitchen was closed. The attention was excellent is only I can say Read more

I like Patsy’s a lot. Beautiful interior and a good menu selection. The dip and Ozzy rolls we had were perfect. Service was... fantastic. Only complaint I had was with my burger. I ordered it medium and it came out pretty rare. I had this issue at sweetwater also, so just be forewarned. It still tasted okay but some might take issue with the scale at which the cooks judge thesethings. Read more

In my opinion, by far the worst of all the Great American restaurants. We came expecting to have the same great service and food... but left with the opposite. Our dinner service took over two hours, half of which was waiting on the food. However, when Ireceived my burger it was raw. I ordered a medium burger but this was legit raw on the inside. The patty was still mushy and wetlike it was just defrosted and thrown onto a high heat grill for a few seconds. The meat temperature was not even hot, it wasstill cool. The kitchen did make another and it took less than 10 minutes before it was served. Although our waiter wasexcellent, I’m afraid it wasn’t enough for our family to have a joyful dinner. The menu did not have its own uniquenesslike the other restaurants. It very much had the same menu and physical appearance as Sweet Water Tavern. Read more

Family and friends traveled to Tyson's for the day we and made a reservation for six people at Patsy's American restaurant for... dinner. The restaurant is readily accessible just off an exit of 495. The building is very large reminiscent of and old brickfactory. Upon entering you will notice the open atmosphere with brick walls, giant murals, a nice bar to the right and verytall ceilings throughout. There is second bar located in the rear of the facility with an another section for seating whichalso includes covered and uncovered outdoor seating. Definitely an upscale feel with good service. We ordered a variety offood items. For the appetizers we tried the calamari, artichoke dip, and tex mex eggrolls which were all really good, but notthe best we have had. The entrees were generally good. I ordered a sauteed crab cake and rare filet. I would get the broiledcrab cake next time as I was not a fan of the crust on the crab cake. The filet was great. My daughter had a penne dish andsaid some of the pasta was not cooked all the way through. The Ozzie bread is delicious and probably the tables favorite item. There is a best buns bakery just next door that serves good cookies and cupcakes if you want to try some different offerings fordessert. Overall a good experience and would try Patsy's American again. Read more

I visited on a Sunday night for a pre-work travel dinner. Shayna greeted me within a minute or two of sitting and made sure my... eating area was clean which I appreciated. As with other GAR experiences, I noticed a lively but not terribly loud atmosphereand familiar menu items. My order consisted of a chop house salad, the prime rib sandwich, half chicken with asparagus, and anorder of white chocolate and raspberry bread pudding recommended by Shayna on request. The salad arrived in a reasonable timefrom my order and had all the familiar traits of such an appetizer: fresh tasting vegetables, proportionate amount of cheese, crispy croutons, and a light amount of dressing. The sandwich arrived about a minute before I was done with the salad, so Iliked the pacing of my meal to that point. The sandwich had a good ratio of beef to bread and the right amount of au jus whichwas not too salty. Fries were a tad cooler than I would have preferred but tasted good all the same. The chicken proved awelcome entree with a moist chicken with a little natural jus. I opted to removed the skin since this preparation does not callfor the skin to be crispy. My putting the seasoned side (outside) of the skin over the cooked chicken meat for just a fewminutes seasoned the meat that much more. Asparagus was cooked properly, and I would have appreciated a little seasoning tobrighten the flavor. The recommended dessert was as advertised: an almost molten caramel cake with a bourbon-flavored saucespiked with raspberry coulis. As a dessert aficionado, I found the offering warm and quite enjoyable. Value seemed reasonablefor the Tysons area, as my bill came to somewhere between $70-75 including tax. If I were in the area, I could easily rely on agood meal at a decent price with attentive and personable service. Read more
