There were many appetizer dishes to share, and the food was delicious, especially the pasta carbonara. We ordered all the... appetizers to try out and were too full for the main course, but we will do it next time we return for more. The price isgreat, really reasonable compared to DC overcharging these days. Excellent customer service! The restaurant decor is cozy andlovely, really homey. I'm so glad to have an authentic Italian nearby our home, only 15 minutes from Mclean vs. 35-45 minutesto Washington DC with traffic jams. It’s a gem family owned restaurant since 1982 ????, from the moment you walk in you’llsee a bunch of pictures of their loyal customers and celebrities. Excellent vibes and prices for what they offer, I can evenconsider it underpriced. The owner Sergio is always looking over everyone making sure you have a good experience. It’s perfectfor having a casual time at their bar or a fancy dinner in their private room, their hostess Nancy greeted us with the mostcharismatic smile, Sergio sat us down and our waiter BJ took excellent care of us. As amazing as always: the food, the service, the care and flexibility to our requests and special needs. I would described food... as excellent, homemade, some great grandma cooking (creamed spinach, mushroom dishes, eggplant dishes, soups, etc, all thestandard fares, which they are happy to adjust to guests' needs), and some slightly experimental cooking (I had fried stuffedzucchini flowers in sauce this time). The owner, Sergio, is always there, greeting customers and overlooking the staff andfood. There are many reasons why their guests come back, and why the restaurant is full most weekends. We love eating here! The service was impeccable. We had my birthday celebration the day before Valentine's and they were able to... accommodate a space for 12 people in a semi private area to still be distancing from everyone else. The servers were veryattentive explained everything and kept on asking if we needed anything. The food was delicious, I had the shrimp scampi filledwith crab meat with risotto and it was delicious, someone ordered the lasagna and it looked great, the ravioli looked amazingtoo and the canneloni were soo good too. Great selections of wines and they gave me a complimentary tiramisu cake and sang HappyBirthday. The ambiance is so homey and welcoming, great place for a romantic dinner too. Totally recommend it!
