Sushi platter and bulgogi don both come with complementary salad and miso soup - what a delighted surprise! Sushi is fresh and... delicious. There is even one sushi wrapped in the leaf - I would not expect to have such delicate meal in this suburbanrestaurant! Great food, efficient service, clean environment, reasonable pricing. This is hands-down the best place for sushi in the DMV area! As a Japanese person, I can say that this is my go-to place for... sushi. If you are looking for high-quality sushi, fish, or Japanese dishes, definitely look no further than Sushi Koji. Yousimply will not get better value anywhere else. The fish is of excellent quality and the tastes are reminiscent of Japan, whichis often hard to find in the states.\n\nSushi Koji opened relatively recently and they’ve been nothing short of fantastic.Chef Lee is so incredible at what he does and he is also simply a wonderful person. All of the staff at Sushi Koji are so kindand attentive. The service is 10/10.\n\nIf you like salmon or tuna, I’d recommend the salmon don or tuna don. You cannot gowrong with the chirashi, and they offer some really great appetizers (our favorites include Agedashi tofu, fried oyster, chickenkaraage). I also enjoy getting takeout from Sushi Koji, as the quality is always well-preserved.\n\nI’d give more stars if Icould. I’m so grateful to have found such a fantastic place for authentic Japanese cuisine — haven’t found one with suchgood value in other big cities like NYC or Boston. Excellent sushi. Nice ambience as well. We ordered the chef\'s choice sushi for two. We thought the amount of food was enough... for the two of us, and the price was fair for the quality. We would definitely come back. Read more

The place is very cozy and the food is good. The sushi is well made and you can tell the freshness of the seafood. I went with... my friends and we got lucky to have a table. It seems to be very popular to the locals which means there is a wait time toreceive the food. Hostess and server is very nice and quick to fix the issues we had. I recommend this place for sushi. Drinksare limited, they are in the process of getting their license for alcohol. Read more
Went for their soft opening and the food was delicious. The fish was freshest I\'ve had in Northern Virginia. The tempura was... very crispy and flavorful. They have lunch specials that make the price reasonable for sushi. I can see Sushi Koji becomingone of our \"go to\" places for sushi in the area.
