This is at Grand Central Mall in Vienna,WV. Good to see this local business still here. Just stopped in after about 10yrs of not... having it. Years ago The Original Pizza Place was the place for pizza and more...... Definitely not now!! ????Extremelydisappointed!!? Way over priced @ $3.50 per slice! The pepperoni thick slice has more crust than toppings and no flavor! Iwander if it will be good or bad in another 10yrs, because that might when I try it again?? I doubt it!! Read more
Food tastes great It was easy to order and pick up. I ordered extra toppings and didn't get them. Other than that it was great.
Very disappointing... After years of passing it by, I finally gave it a try today. I ordered a take-home pizza. I paid, and was... told it'd take 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes... I was late picking up my partner from work from across the parking lot, so Ihad to say something. They couldn't explain what happened. I was asked if I was okay with just taking home some slices that werealready made, and I declined. I already told my partner I was going to be late, and I really wanted a fresh made to order pie.Well, I was given an assortment of slices almost immediately anyway. I didn't have the patience to say anything and I justleft. I get home 15 minutes later and it's already cold. Cheese is hard, not hot and stringy. Just sadness. It just wasn't whatI ordered. I don't like to whine a lot, but after all the hype, this pizza place is not worth it's praise. And the customerservice and ignoring my wishes was another slap in the face. I didn't matter, neither did my satisfaction I have since gotten aresponse from the restaurant. I've been told I should be grateful because they gave me a free drink when I asked for one, andthat all of my complaints other than the wait time were unreasonable. I'm a diabetic and have rather extreme thirst, so yes, Iasked for a water. I've been informed that water is $0.25, so I'm out of line. They should have told me it wasn't free, I'dnever heard of paying for a water- but I understand things change. If I knew, I would have paid- but my complaints areinvalidated because I got a free water. I'll throw $0.25 in the tip jar next time I walk by to undo my injustices. They saidall of the food court locations charge for water... I don't know, maybe I took advantage of another location, but I had orderedfrom another place hours earlier. Best dag gone pizza around. May cause a vessel or two to get clogged but their pizza is already to die for. More pepperoni the... more grease just the way I like it. The Grand Central Mall has the cheapest price and it's pricey but it's worth every penny.Nobody can match any other food to other places..
