Today was my first time eating at Mickey's and I have to say, this place made a strong first impression on me. As soon as I... opened the door I was greeted with an amazing aroma of food. I was also surprised they make the food right in front of you tomake sure it is exactly the way you want it cooked. I had a chili dog and I was impressed. For about 6$ I had a chili dog,fries, and a soda. The food was delicious and not only that, the person at the front desk gave us free ice cream cones. Food was priced well, and not to mention delicious! And although I walked in with a Chicago White Sox Jersey I we were treated... very well! Love the part where you get a mini ice cream cone when your done eating. Definitely stopping by again. Read more
Saw a lot of negative reviews. The times I was there, hot dogs seemed pretty good to me. Only complaint is the look you get when... you ask for ketchup. everyone knows it's for the fries. I've been eating here since I was a kid. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the family that runs the place are... always so friendly and welcoming (and the owner/manager guy is pretty hot lol). Best thing is that they are easy on the wallet. Love this place. Read more
I stopped here with my mom and nice as a throwback for my mother who ate here in her highschool days. We are originally from... Chicago but now love in NWI so it is a bit of a trip to come out here. And it was worth it. The hotdogs are great and theItalian beefs are literally almost as good as portillos. The cheese sauce had flavor. And the staff was nice. I originally gottheir 2 hotdog special, but after trying a bite of my mom's roast beef, I asked for one to go. When I explained to the lady howI was going back to Indiana asked her if she can package it seperately she went above and beyond. I was able to eat it laterthat night and it was just as good as when I tried my mother's sandwich. Definitely recommend! Read more
This was the most horrible meal I have ever had and it was an unbelievable embarrassment to guests. Ordered a hot dog - bun was... stale and had an odd flavor, practically no mustard, a small chunk of tomato and thin slice of pickle. Couldn't eat it. Bothbeef sandwiches were dry as a bone with stale bread. I called to complain and they blamed the delivery company for the horriblefood. It was not cold or late - it was horrible food. It was ordered about 3:30, and had to be leftover lunch food. Person whoanswered phone was rude and hung up on me when I wouldn't accept that bad food could not be the driver's fault. Read more
Absolutely fantastic food had a Hot dog special 2 hot dogs with fries and a drink very fast and friendly service talked to the... owners son he couldn't believe how 2 Australians found there way there. Highly recommend a visit. Read more
