Moving from Chicago to the burbs, you sacrifice a lot when it comes to food. Unfortunately it just doesn?t compare. This place... was good. The al pastor on my tostada had good flavor. I did feel like the tostada was a little skimpy. It could have used moretoppings. The rice and beans were also good. The flautas were not as expected. They were not rolled in a traditional tortilla.Not sure what it was rolled in but it was thick and absorbed too much oil, I was not a fan. My husband and the kids did like thetortas and tacos. Again, even though the meat was well flavored the tacos were on the thin side. All in all the food was good.We would order again. Read more
I never leave reviews but felt it was necessary after going here. Price was rite but the quality wasn?t. No flavor and... honestly I got sick rite after eating this. The steak tasted like it was boiled in water not a grain of seasoning. Not sure ifit was steak or ground beef to be honest. I got two burrito dinners and a torta and they would only give me 4 verde sauces andthose were watered down also. I hope the up there game cause as much as I?d like to go back and enjoy $1.50 tacos I think I?llpass. Read more
Ordered tamales, pozole and menudo for delivery - everything was packed up tightly and arrived nice and hot. All was delicious... - only criticism was I wish they had sent shredded lettuce or cabbage for the pozole. Regardless, I'll definitely be checkinginto Molcajete again soon. Read more
This is my go-to for a local taco spot, but they offer far more than just tacos. Seems like a very authentic place and the... flavors speak for themselves. Would highly recommend the pollo and al pastor tacos, good god. Absolutely delicious. Definitelycoming back for their great Taco Tuesday deal, but also probably a lot of other days of the week as well. Read more
