Nice restaurant! Was looking for a place with gluten free and vegan options. Menu items are listed gf and vegetarian and I... ordered the teriyaki glazed tofu (listed as chicken but an option to sub tofu), it was really good! This restaurant is a bittricky to fins if you have never been here before, have to go around to the back. The restaurant is a bit dark so may need touse the flashlight on your phone to look at menu options. All of the staff was very friendly. Read more

I have been coming here since 2019. COVID certainly took a hit on this place.. there is a huge turnover of staff every few... months. I frequent the place for Happy Hour, prices have increased over the years which is expected. But the quality hasdecreased. I absolutely loved their truffle fries, they just don't come with as much truffle oil anymore so the flavor islacking. The fried rice is really good, and is a huge portion it is just VERY salty. As for the Sushi: avocado roll, shrimptempura, spicy salmon and California are among the rolls I have tried. Sushi always comes fresh, never a problem there. My momdecided to try the garlic mussels off the happy hour menu, she was disappointed. They came under cooked. She made the staffaware of the issue and was given another order of mussels this time cooked up to par. Though the muscles were not comped for themistake on the kitchens end, she enjoyed them. I don't see my self dinning here in the future. There are so many other greatsushi restaurants up and down the Main Line and in Philly that deserve business. Another turn away is the clientele, therestaurant is full of entitled rich people, who complain. (A situation I witnessed) The young hostess is explaining therestaurant is full and unless you have a reservation you need to wait. A woman with her children starts " We come here everySunday, never have a reservation and never have to wait. I just can't understand this is ridiculous." Eventually she complainsenough and gets her way, the hostess' supervisor/manager takes the woman to get seated. Read more

Quiet night, thanks to the Phillies game. The bar wasn't obvious when you first walked in; most of the restaurant wasn't obvious... from the door (which was nice). Restaurant would be great for a date night: plenty of cozy booths and well-positioned tablesthat would create an intimate setting. Bar was long and wide/deep, but with a few too many stools (would definitely be awkwardgetting in and out if crowded). I had the ginger bourbon old fashioned (tasty but quite small, although appropriately pricedfor it's size). Mushroom dumpling soup was next (flavorful, but a bit too salty IMO). Red Dragon roll as my main (dry). I wasjazzed to try this spot, I've heard such great things and it's well reviewed, but maybe I hit it on an off night... Read more

Everything was great except for the food. It is almost as if the chef does not taste the food. The only great dish we had was... the halibut, that dish was excellent. The tuna tar tar was good, but not remarkable. Same with the Azie roll. The strawberryjalapeño roll just did not go to together. The chilean sea bass had no flavor and was over cooked. The Chocolate Toban Yaki wasnot warm in the middle. Brioche Bread Pudding was more like a firm piece of banana bread and the flavors did not meld well. Read more

Excellent food. A bit of a weird location and so-so service, but it was a Tuesday and there were 12 of us. Highly recommend the... strawberry roll. Read more

Wonderful girls night dinner. The inside of the restaurant is massive and beautiful. The sushi rolls were massive with fresh... fish and minimal rice (which is great). The sweet potato roll was totally an unsung hero and (admittedly, surprisingly) amazing. We also got the chicken pad thai which they nicely split in two for us. Ok flavor and overall fine. Our service was mediocre -she seems distracted and disinterested and missed some parts in our meal. Extensive menu so excited to come back and hope forbetter service. Read more

We asked if we could sit on a booth as there were plenty of empty ones, and they said there is no waiters for the booths, but... they could accommodate another family 5 minutes after us! Yes, we had a reservation and the restaurant was quiet empty. We hadhigh expectations for the service and the food, but even the sushi and a rice noodle bowl were below average and lack taste andfreshness, specially the meat in the bowl and sushi (weird) tasted really bad. Everything at Azie from the moment we walked in was wonderful . I took my cousin out for her 30th bday. Only thing that could... have been better was more sauce on the Azie Rock Shrimp but everything in all was amazing !! I had the Braised Short Ribs whichwas so tender , mashed potatoes and spinach were very fresh as well. They took their time making the food including the sushi wehad that isn’t pictured . You must go try this place you won’t regret it . Read more
