The delivery man was very rude and disrespectful to my Father who had Dementia. When the food came my Father tried to tip him... and pay for the food. He did not get that it was already paid for. The delivery man told him twice and when my Dad still wantedto tip him the Driver proceeded to ask him if he was dumb or crazy. He then started yelling at my Dad. All because he wanted tomake sure that man was tipped. When I called to complain the owners cursed me out. I supported this place from the time itopened and stood by them when people were trying to close them, I was very angry and hurt by this event. Read more
Food is delicious, never a long wait time.
Last week I had the good fortune to experience the fine food at golden city. This restaurant was recommended to me by my hair... stylist. The dish I ordered was Singapore mein fun. Luckily for me I ordered one of the chefs finer concoctions. The dishconsisted of noodles, shrimp and vegetables all put together with a spicy flavor that may have been part curry and part cayennepepper. The blend of the spices was put together by the chef in a manner which showed culinary mastery. I was very impressedby the quality of the food at golden city. From calling in our order to eating our meal, we were impressed. The person who answered the phone was courteous and thorough.... She gave me the total for our order and how long it would take. The food was ready when we arrived, well packaged and ready togo. We had shrimp egg foo young and lemon chicken. $5 for large white rice. Yes you read that correctly. This was at the end of the night, I was the only person in the store. I... confirmed that is the price he said. I asked for my credit card back and left. This looks like a take out place only. Thereis not a lot of other choices in walking distance, but I still choose on principle to not support this pricing.
