I only have one complaint. Today when I walked in the door, I seen the cashier and I noticed she had a very noticeable attitude,... but I didn?t really think anything of it till I went up to the front desk after me and my friend got done eating our food. Wewent to get some change But the cashier seemed to not like that for some weird reason. We asked for a some quarters, and myfriend gave her a couple dollar bills. The cashier said that she ?wasn?t going to do that? Me and my friend were really confusedat that point, so we didn?t say anything so she ended up doing it anyways. Whenever she was done, she said ? there, I did it.?we said thank you, and then walked out the door but before we walked out, I noticed she was being really rude to other customersas well not just us. Which maybe she was having a really bad day which is understandable I?m a cashier as well, but I wouldn?tbe rubbing my attitude off onto the customers that I have. Like not only was she rude, but she was very disrespectful for noreason. I don?t really wanna be that kind of person that makes a huge complaint but when people are rude out of nowhere, I can?tstand to not say something. I didn?t catch a name or anything but the lady was fairly old, dark hair, and I think she hadglasses. But overall the food was great. Lol Read more
Husband and I went in an hour before they closed the girl that took our order tells us they were closing soon so she had to see... if they could make our steak comes back says they agree to. We get seated and 35 minutes later steak arrives way over cookedthey took mine back finally after 30 more minutes they brought my steak and our baked potatoes were cold and steak was burntagain. They were closed and just in a hurry to get us out of there. 40 minute drive to be treated the way we were! Read more
Hot food was hot, cold food was cold, all the food bars were well stocked and refilled often. Our server was excellent, she was... attentive, removed used dishes promptly, kept our drinks filled, and asked several times how everything was, and asked if shecould get us anything else. She was, by far, the best server we have ever had at Ponderosa. Read more
Good food, friendly service!! Ran out of some food I would of liked to had, but there was still plenty to pick from.... Understaffed, as are a lot of places right now!! Many businesses are just doing the best we can with what we have to work with.We just live in a society now where more people don?t want to work, which makes it so much harder on the ones of us who do. The Ponderosa Steakhouse is a time capsule of taste and charm that harkens back to a more simpler time. It is a delightful... nougat of nostalgia that holds up to the hype. This was my first Ponderosa experience and I pray it won?t be my last. Thesetting and service smacks of Sizzler, but there is something about Ponderosa that is undoubtedly superior. One of my meal matesposted to socials about our road trip respite and the comment-a-minute response from his friends assured me that this wasn?tjust unwarranted novelty and nostalgia I was experiencing. People are pining for the Ponderosa and partaking in the pudding willprove they are indeed worthy. Read more
