All I can say is "Wow"! The smoked wings are absolutely brilliant with a distinct and very tasty flavour experience! I also... enjoyed the atmosphere! I had the sampler which included wings and beef brisket, as two sides (I had onion rings and baconcheesy potatoes, which were both excellent). Very tasty all round! We usually go to Pub 'N' Grub at least once a week. I love their smoked wings and their burgers are awesome. I feel they have... some of the best onion rings in town. Great flavor and a good value. One of our favorite places to visit. Read more

We set out and worked our way southwest to the historic city of Vincennes Indiana. Vincennes is a city in and thecounty seat of Knox County, Indiana. It is located on the lower Wabash River in the southwestern part of the state, nearlyhalfway between Evansville and Terre Haute. Founded in 1732 by French fur traders, notably François-Marie Bissot, Sieur deVincennes, for whom the Fort was named, Vincennes is the oldest continually inhabited European settlement in Indiana and one ofthe oldest settlements west of the Appalachians. Our lunch destination was Pub N Grub located on 4th street in the old downtownof Vincennes. The Pub resides in a very old building! Guessing this building is well over 100 years old. The Pub started out asa food truck business but now has dine in restaurants in Jasper and Vincennes. They specialize in smoked barbecue meats. Uponentering a friendly hostess seated our party. Our waitress was there immediately to take our drink order. The staff was friendlyand attentive to the customers needs. After looking over the menu I ordered the brisket sandwich. I had them put white Americancheese, onion and creamy horseradish on it. It came with two sides , I picked french fries and mac and cheese. The sandwich hada very generous amount of brisket. I'm guessing close to 3/4 of a pound. The beef was tender and juicy and had a wonderfulsmokey taste. The cheese, onion and horseradish sauce were the perfect toppings to take this sandwich to a stratospheric levelof deliciousness! The mac and cheese were perfect and the fries were hot, crisp and as good as french fries can get. Fantastic BBQ at decent prices. The pretzel bites are amazing and the onion rings are PERFECT. Hot, crispy, but don't pull... apart. The brisket was amazingly tender and their sweet sauce is incredible. Read more
One of these cooks makes the best burger I have ever had. A perfectly cooked patty -- perfectly seared and caramelized on the... outside, but with the tiniest bit of pink on the inside giving it incredible flavor and texture -- topped with perfectlytextured grilled veggies and cheese... Easily the best burger I have had in the last decade, and when I went back the next daythe chicken sandwich was incredible as well. As someone just passing through, I was blown away by the quality. First you couldn?t smell anything smoking until we got right up to the place. Red flag. Then the brisket was 3 tiny pieces about... equivalent to three chicken nuggets. My beans had one little chunk of jalapeño. And the Texas toast had no butter and nogarlic. That is just Dry toast! On the other hand the brisket nachos were pretty good but it still didn?t have enough meat. Thiswas a huge let down because this place used to be great. I hope they get back to that maybe the cook had a bad day but I was notsatisfied. Read more
