I do not eat here often enough even though it's in my hometown. It has been under the same ownership since it has opened many... years ago. They combined the best part of a dine-in restaurant with a takeout pizzeria. The dine in area is set up for finedining. However, the prices are some of the most reasonable in town. They specialize and pasta and fish as well as aconventional menu. The service is always great. I particularly appreciated our waitress who suggested appetizers as well asdrinks to accompany our meals. The menu is great for all ages with a special children's section. Read more

Visited New Jersey with the family and was looking for some place to have dinner. After googling we stumbled across Black Olive... and it was a great choice. The staff was friendly and the food was great. They portions were huge. I was able to have leftoversfor the next day. Unfortunately I did not take any photos. We have patronized here for years. Amazing bread sticks. Consistent food quality. Not upscale but good diner food. Service is... usually good. Unfortunately they have become greedy! Charging for boxes when you can't finish your food?! Ridiculous. Theyalready charge more for credit cards and,, like everyone else, raised their prices. So many other choices.
