/The food is good but delivery times are very inconsistent. They always tell you 45 minutes. One day my order is here in 20... /minutes the next order was placed at 5:30pm again they say 45 min, It did not get here until 7:05pm. UPDATE: 9/12/2022 ThoughtI would try again. Well, This will be the last time I order fomr here. I was told 40 min and it took an hour and a half. Whenthe food got here one cheesesteak had a lot of meat and the other hardly had any meat. Ordered for the first time today. We got a variety of items but we especially loved the penne with vodka sauce and the wings---... BEST we ever had and we get wings at a lot of places. We will definitely be back! Read more
I've ordered delivery from Romeo's a few times since it's close to my job. The pepperoni pizza is on point. I recently tried... the Alfredo with Penne and chicken as well as the Hot Veggie wrap on Spinach tortilla and both items were delicious, hot andvery filling. Pricing is reasonable and they are quickly becoming my #1 go to for lunch. Delivery is usually faster thanexpected but that may be due to how close our businesses are. Today I ordered a Red Veggie pizza was Excellent! Crust wad done to perfection and there was plenty of veggies on it nice and... moist. Thumbs up to the Pizza Maker. Also it was delivered on time and nice and hot. Great delivery man. Only place I order mypizza from. Prices are reasonable. Thanks for all you guys keep up the Good Work. My Food was Cold and Very Late. I wrote this like a story time, so go to the 4th paragraph for the conclusion of the story. 1:... I had ordered a stromboli(steak) and funnel fries for 12:45pm. (I had placed the order a little before 11am, so this gave themplenty of time to fulfill the order.) I ordered through the Slice app and got a message on my phone that it was out for deliveryaround 12:40pm. ( Keep in mind the building is only 5 minutes away from my house). 2: I get a call from the place around 1pm.The guy in a flat tone was like, ?You placed an order around 11am, um, are you going to pick up your order.? And I was like, ? Iordered through the Slice app for a delivery at 12:45pm.? And then he was like, ? Oh okay, if you would like I can set out adriver to delivery it.? 3: I agreed and waited?and waited. And waited some more. The time was then 1:47pm and I called again. Iasked for an update about my delivery? what I believe to be a different guy from before said, ? Oh is your order the stromboli?I have it right here and I have your address.? I said, ?Okay?? And then he said, ? Sorry, it is going to be delivered.? I wasinternally frustrated, but kept a calm voice on the phone and hanged up. 4: My order came a little after 2pm and the food wasvery cold. I have always liked this restaurant, but I?m very disappointed in the delivery aspect. They didn?t offer anything forthe inconvenience. Somehow my food took over an hour JUST for delivery, but my house is 5 minutes away. The one guy on the phoneapologized for the it, but I still want to know who?s to blame for this huge time gap. I gave them tip online and I now regret.Next time, I will just call in and pick it up. For future customers: Do not order through Slice, its better just to call therestaurant directly for an order.
