My best friend and I just did a full day Christmas workshop at The Watering Can. There are no words to say how wonderful our day... was! The morning coffee, scones and croissants fueled us for a very involved live greenery wreath class. The materials weretop-notch, as were the instructors. We were served an incredible lunch of butternut squash soup, goat cheese and mushroomstrudel, and flavourful garden & beet salad - all coming from the on-site cafe?s kitchen. After lunch, we worked on a beautifultabletop sleigh arrangement - again with a choice of accents. Following a dessert & coffee break of cranberry and whitechocolate cheesecake, we started on our big urn insert - the last project of the day! My friend & I were so touched by all theassistance I received from the instructors (I have severe rheumatoid arthritis, with significant damage to both arms and hands). They were always there to lend a hand or a word of encouragement (Particular thanks to Becky & Lisa). The greenhouse where weworked was wonderfully set up and fully accessible, as was the bathroom located within. We spent a thrilling hour in the mainstore, as well, delighting in the incredibly unique floral displays and array of plants, treats and treasures. Withoutexception, the staff was friendly, helpful and sincere. The Watering Can is our new go-to place, and we are already planning ournext visits and workshops!! My sincerest thanks to everyone for making it such a wonderful day!! Read more

The Watering Can is a beautiful space housing various kinds of plants, flowers and pots. It was a delight to walk around. You?ll... notice beautiful little setups created with plants and other objects throughout the place. There is an indoor cafe right in themiddle of it, surrounded by greenery. We went there to try their afternoon high tea. It?s best to book your time slot online ifyou?re visiting to try the high tea menu. The teas and the food platter with all its scones, sandwiches, fruits and pastries wasabsolutely delicious and the service is really friendly. We spent a refreshing afternoon here and it was definitely worth thevisit. Read more

The Watering Can is an amazing place. The store itself is amazing with all its plants (mainly indoor) and pots. The decor is... creative. Did the tea there - it's a nice relaxed simple atmosphere surrounded by plants. it's so good. They have a goodvariety of Sloane teas. And the tier was full of delicious sandwiches scones and desserts. It was warm because it was pseudooutdoors but really nice to be there and enjoy the summer. Maddy was our server and she was the best. Honestly the quality ofservice and food rivals the best high teas without being pretentious. Read more

One of the best nurseries I?ve been to. Paradise ???? beautiful plants artistically displayed. Stepped into a magical realm,... just waiting to see some elves and fairies. Reuse and recycling of old vintage pieces used as planters, love it. Rustic vibeswith attentive and informative staff. The cafe is another gem, specially in winter it feels like one is transported into atropical paradise. Excellent food options with vegan and vegetarian choices too. Tip: book a table whiles shopping as they maytake up to 30/40 mins waits time on a busy weekend. They do a high tea and best to book a slot online to enjoy it. Great pricesof plants too. I bought a Bird of paradise 3 feet plant in a 10inch pot for just $ 49:99. Beautiful healthy plants. A wide rangeof planters too. Definitely a place to visit if one is seeking some nature amidst Canada?s winter, much needed TLC???? Read more

Great food and atmosphere, we ordered a weekly much room toast special, the valentine days waffles, and the baked brie. All were... delicious and it was cute seeing the birds fly about. The air was fresh and it was the perfect temperature inside for winter. Ihead it gets really hot in the summer though. The states are 100% compostable as well! Read more
