This is a no frills small town Diner. What I like about it the most is consistency, over the years I have gone there, they have... stayed true to the theme that I perceive. It's decent good tasting good. Decently clean, good service and reasonably priced.Everything comes timely and i have never had an order or service issue the several times I have ate there. I also respect theyalways have a good amount of people working in the kitchen and servers. With all of that they help the community, they stayconstant. Overall I enjoy dining here. Read more
I went on a Monday afternoon around 2 pm. One of their daily specials was a rib meal for 10.95. I thought this was a good deal... so I ordered it. As I looked over the menu, that was the normal every day price so not really a daily specials though still agood price. The meal came with a good amount of ribs, choice of potatoes, boiled carrots, and soup or salad. I chose the mashedpotatoes with gravy and salad. As you can see, the salad was decent sized though a bit lacking in veggies. The croutons werevery good. To me, the carrots were inedible due to being so badly overcooked. Even with salt and pepper, it did not help. Themashed potatoes were very mashed. The potatoes and gravy were good. The ribs were very over cooked though they had a good bbqsauce on them. The meal was supposed to come with a roll but I did not get one. It was also to include a dessert which I did notget either and even more so they offered to sell me dessert. Overall, the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Itwas a bit not cool that they offered to sell me dessert when my deal was supposed to have one included. I know this from themenu as well as the guy directly behind me ordered the same thing and got dessert. To me, the place had a feel of a place forretired people to eat as everything was kinda bland and overcooked to make everything more easily digestible. Great food and service, but they need to trim the trees by the 218/150 intersection so people can see their sign from the... highway!!! Or raise the sign higher!! Would lead to more business ???????? Read more
Well I was on my motorcycle when a BIG storm rolled in. They let me sit in there and watch without ordering anything so I didn't... get rained on while on the bike. Everybody in there was extremely nice and greeted me with smiles. I have eaten here before andwon't lie the steak and eggs were amazing. I'm making this review to also say thank you very much. I will give them a 5/5 (even though they forgot my dessert, which was supposed to be included with my meal). The staff were all... working really hard and were very busy but you did not have to wait long. Food selection was excellent with tons of specials. Wewere happy with what we had for the portion size and price (although I didn't love the seasoning sauce on the vegetable stir fryand the veg were a bit over-done). Hot turkey sandwich was huge and wonderful (so says my dining companion) The place was busy,and everyone was enjoying their meals. So thank you! Read more
GREAT place for a Breakfast type diner. They have a pretty decent selection of food in the menu that gets out to you with... relative quickness and decent prices for what you get! Staff is great, atmosphere is pretty generic so if you're looking to gosomewhere and just have some good food and no worry about anything else, this is a great quick stop!
