Server service, and their respective customer interaction, is fantastic! The food was tasty and was promptly served. This has been an off week for service in general it seems for most places we have been. That being said the service was not poor... but left room for improvement. The food was excellent. The steak was done exactly as requested with great flavor. The lobsterwas delicious. The server was pleasant. We were checked on enough to have what we needed but not so much that we were bothered.Our ticket had charges for items we did not order or receive so that had to be corrected. We waited for longer than seemedreasonable for our server to come back to pick up the payment after the check was placed on the table but an apology for thewait was given. 4 out of 5 because it was not excellent but it was good. Very disappointing dining experience! The chicken on my nachos was dry, tough, and flavorless. Server was not very attentive and... seemed completely annoyed about having to interact with us. The pop in my drink was flat. The bathroom was seriously neglected(hadn't been deep cleaned in quite a long time and was in need of repairs/upgrades). It was our first time in Virginia, Minnesota. We went to Adventures Restaurant for Dinner. We asked for beer. The waitress... presented us with 4 beers. We told her, we would like one beer at a time. She said, it is happy hour, and we serve double theorder. I told her, we would like to drink beer, not inhale it. Please hold the extra in the fridge. We immediately felt she wasannoyed with us, when we explained that we have been to hundreds of happy hours, and nobody has ever dumbed a double order ofalcohol. Throughout the dinner, she largely ignored us, and brought the bill while we were still eating dinner, even though wetold her, may want to have dessert. When we examined the bill, we noticed that she charged us the normal rate for our drinks. Myhusband signaled to her that we had questions about the bill. What she did was circumventing our table. Finally when she showedup, I confronted her with her attitude, and the fact she was inhospitable. Her response, ?I am busy, and my manager told me whatI should do.? I explained to her as a person working in the hospitality industry, least you could do, explain how yourrestaurant operates in Virginia, Minnesota, and be responsive to our questions, unless this is how Minnesotans treat people whovisit from other states. I won't be back. I ate here this last June. The A/C wasn't working so the dining room was hot, the servers were sweaty, and... the menu prices were very high for the offerings. For $18 dollars I got frozen veggies a morsel of steak (like 4 oz) and averagefries. It would seem you have to spend $35 plus for a normal sized meal here. There are better places to eat. Read more
