My only problem with this place is I found it my last day of vacation. The bagels are excellent. The homade cream cheese was... great and make sure to try the pastrami nothing like a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel will definitely make this myfirst stop next year Read more

Quality over the past 2 years keeps going down to the point I can't not speak up. I ordered 3 eggs, pork roll and cheese on... everything for ~$11.50. Normally the eggs have a yolk in the middle and aren't scrambled crud like in the picture. I wasexpecting for a $11.50 3 egg breakfast sandwich that it would be stacked super high. Infact I've ordered it from BB and it wasmassive and the eggs looked great. This is another story. This would bring their rating down to maybe a 2-3 stars. But inroughly the past 15 orders my order has been wrong 4 times. I've had to either turn around and wait for it to be cooked or justeat whatever they decided to make that day. I grew up in NJ and right outside of NYC. I grew up on bagels throughout my entirelife. I was so excited for BB to open. And it was great at the start, not as good as NJ. But the quality has slowly butdrastically degraded over the past year or two. Edit: for owner taking action on refunding I believe customer service holdsweight. I will give it some time before I order from here again. I'll be scratching my neck for some bagels but I'll just haveto wait. Edit 2: figured it's been a few months and I'd call in to get an order and see if their quality improved or pricescame down. 10am on a Tuesday not really peak breafkast time, called 3 times with time in between no answer. 4th call someonepicked up. Unfortunately they ran out of pork roll so I didn't order. Maybe next time. Read more

First I'm original from outisde of NYC. I grew up within the Italian and Jewish community. My love for bagels is true. I have... them sent to me from an online Queens NY BAGEL place or my sister who works in Manhattan goes to a famous place there and sendsthem to me that day. I chatted with someone this week who recommended this place once they found out I was from NY. I live inGreat Bridge Chesapeake so going to this place was like crossing the state. I picked up a dozen bagels and got a sample of thepastrami. The bagels by far are the best in this area and the pastrami was slap your mama excellent. I would have went back inand got a pound of pastrami but the line got long that quick and I work in Norfolk so I really went out of my way to try thesebagels and this place. Highly recommend it. I ? Brooklyn Bagels! Read more

I had a bad experience this past weekend where I ordered the Jackie Robinson. I grew up in Jersey and never did I have an... omelet type egg. It's always a fried egg sometimes runny. I know this is not typical of BB because during the week thesandwich is done right. Reading a previous complaint on same thing, we are all facing tough times and I know in Jersey theyare not being chinzy with the sandwiches and charging $4.50. I hope with charging $9.00+tax a sandwich that they would do rightby it on the weekends as well. Read more
