A hidden treasure! Looks can be deceptive, no lie, looks like a hole in the wall. Walk in, just four tables, plain chairs,... and an open kitchen. Service was efficient, not over the top friendly, definitely short order restaurant style. BUT what wouldhave been a three star review up to this point shifts to a five with how delicious the food is. 25 medium shrimp dinner specialfor a reasonable $12, comes with corn, broccoli, and potatoes.... and it is STELLAR. The mix of seasonings is off the charts,flavor explosion of Cajun that is spicy, but not overly peppery. Lemon pepper finishes it off with a nice zest. Will 100% beback! Read more
Crab legs were amazing! I love crab legs and these were the best I?ve had! Better than the big seafood buffets
So glad this place showed up! I only eat seafood and they have all my favorites. Husband wife and staff are very humble and nice... family. I love the shrimp, just puppies are good, and the fries... it's like they have a hint of .. well I can't explain thetaste you have to try it.. they are amazing!. Great value and tasty. Have eaten here several times already. I prefer the boiled/steamed offerings for health reasons but the... hush puppies are the bomb. The whiting and shrimp are fantastic. Service (family-owned) is friendly and they?re veryaccommodating. $5.99 for a big lunch with two pieces of fish, potatoes and fresh cooked broccoli. Can?t beat it! Read more
Tried the steamed lunch special with the "medium" shrimp, potatoes and broccoli. It was fantastic, I opted for the garlic... butter and cajun seasoning. The only complaint would be the shrimp aren't really medium but they are small. Nonetheless Ienjoyed them, they tasted fresh- not frozen. The shrimp were cleaned (deveined) and peeled. The food was steamed perfectly. Iwas full but not miserable. It is an office favorite and we will definitely be going back. Oh I forgot the sweet tea had a niceflavor too.
