I came here for a quick late lunch, about 4pm on a Wednesday. I had the fish and chips, broccoli and "dip" sum donuts. The fish... was highly under seasoned. Well not seasoned at all. And very greasy. The breading was sopping with grease and falling off. Thebroccoli comes with large garlic cloves. I don't mind garlic so that was fine for me, I liked it. The donuts were so good tho!!These are covered in sugar and a little ginger (not enough ginger to notice) and comes with caramel, raspberry and chocolatesauces , respectively. It was very good, would definitely get that again. The staff was nice and the place is clean. Nothingspectacular. Also, I feel the fish was a bit overpriced for how small and underwhelming the portion was. $19, a bit much. Read more

Cobalt Grill is always a great treat. I have never had a meal that I did not absolutely enjoy here. The service is always... prompt and attentive. On this particular visit, the restaurant was very crowded and my wife and I were willing to sit in thebar area. The bar tender was our server and ensured that we, and everyone else in the bar area, were well taken care of. Mywife and I both ordered the specials of the day, and as always, were not disappointed. Can't wait to go back again. Read more

We went here for Valentine's weekend - the food was phenomenal. I ordered the chicken penne pasta and it was absolutely divine.... My date got the pork ribeye, and to our surprise they asked how we wanted it to be cooked. Not only did the cook it beautifully, overall the plate was beautiful each item perfectly complimenting the other. We also got the baked Camembert, it was our firsttime having it - all of the pairings the gave us for it were delightful. To finish out our meal we decided to get the tre lecheswith the cardamom ice cream, and the unsung star of that was the ice cream. It was a true delight to eat here. I cannot wait forus to come back for just the food alone. The service was a delight as well - our waitress was patient as we took our time todecide what we wanted, and even took my drink back to the bar when I said that it was a little bit too strong tasting for myliking. Aside from the stunning food, which was beautiful to eat and look at, the amazing waitstaff, the restaurant itself wasvery warm feeling and comfortable to be in. It's not the type of place I'd go dressed down - I'd definitely wear something nicerhere, maybe business-casual. All in all; I highly recommend trying this place if you are able to afford the trip, as I wouldn'tsay it is the cheapest place. The food is worth the price in my opinion. Read more

Tuesday night we sailed in for their burger night special, but on instagram i saw fresh rockfish available also. well i am an... old guy and chris and i both love rockfish or stripers, or striped bass......whatever you want to call them. from the late 60'sthrru the 80's i made part of my income from catching these fish commercially, so that also means i have eaten them for a verylong time too. Tuesday night was two of the best rockfish dinners i have ever had. We had a new server to us, nice gentlemannamed Mike. we ordered two dinners, fried portobello mushroom app, Caesar salad with dinner and a new red blend wine........ihope i see rockfish on the menu again here soon. the rockfish came with mashed potatoes and broccoli, regular mashed potatoes, not the garlic ones that seem to be the thing these days here and there, just plain outstanding mashed potatoes. Now on top ofthe rockfish was a creme type sauce of fresh crabmeat and lobster meat and it was nice, but when it got all mixed up with themashed potatoes and broccoli.....OMG what a great dish it became. keep an eye out for rockfish again and see if Mike is working - carry big wallet too. My date wanted me to try their Spanish coffee since he wanted me to see how they make it with fire lol. The service was good and... we ordered the chef's special dessert which helped with the slight bite to the Spanish coffee. The dessert was a brownie with ahardened chocolate top, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and pecans with a cherry on top! It was delicious, though the chocolatecovering the brownie top was a bit hard to cut through so we had to stab it with the fork with a good amount of force. I wouldgo back since the service was good and to try something else next time! Read more
