If you are at or near Virginia Beach, you owe it to yourself to try Masala Bites at 2133 Upton Drive. We love Indian cuisine and... have had it in Roanoke VA, Philadelphia PA and San Francisco and these folks do the classics like Chicken Tikka Masala andVegetable Korma the best I have ever had! We ordered chicken makhni, onion bhaji, chicken curry, malabari goat, garlic naan. Food was good. The atmosphere is nice, great... for a date. Bathroom clean. They would had five star if the service was excellent. Staff was super friendly but we waited awhile before our order was taken. Read more

Stopped in for a quick snack in between deliveries and I got these HUGE samosas???????? Crispy but STUFFED with deliciousness!... The setting and staff are so unbelievably nice and I cant wait to come for dinner. And always order the mango lassi! Read more
Great Indian cuisine! Good service and atmosphere; reasonably priced, delicious food. Chaat of the day was unique and flavorful,... also loved the onion bhaji and mango chutney. Garlic naan, tikka masala, and biryani were what you would expect, all very good.Dessert sampler was a great way to end the meal - definitely recommend the flourless chocolate cake, although the gulab jamunwas unique and very good as well. We have been coming here for years at least twice a month and absolutely love this place! The food is impeccable and service is... wonderful. We are so happy to support this small family owned business. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow. I amsurprised by some of the negative reviews most of which mention price. If you are too cheap to eat out, you should stay homeand leave your nasty comments to your family members cooking for you. Read more
