This place was no where near authentic. Everything tasted artificial and canned. We were expecting actual Mexican tacos, and we... got soft tacos with ground beef. The tortillas weren?t even cooked all the way through and looked pretty raw. this is honestly ahuge disappointment to Mexican/Hispanic culture. Everything was pretty pricey too. Overall, Mi Casita will satisfy your Tex-Mex needs, but the true test of a Mexican restaurant (IMO) are the margaritas and the... carnitas, and I didn't have either when I was there. I did however have the excellent seafood fajitas (A+). My friend, howeverordered chicken nachos and later that night suffered what we assumed to be food poisoning, though I tried them as well fromtheir plate, and felt fine, so it might have been unrelated. The only other thing that might have been better is the amount ofsalsa brought to the table with the mountain of chips... even though you can get a refill, the bowls are very shallow. Stopped in today for lunch. Ordered fresh guacamole, displayed well and tasted great. It is served somewhat chunky which I... prefer. I had Enchiladas Supremas and the wife enjoyed Enchiladas Verdes. Food was prepared quickly and had great flavor.Overall a great restaurant for a meal that won't break the bank. Read more
Very laid back quiet spot during my visit. I got a taco salad, and my bestie got the muenudo- (which was very awesome for them... to be willing to make as the menu had it listed as weekends only), we split a bean dip, and a xango & ice cream. All were tastyand prepared fresh. There was a minor issue with the red salsa brought out with the chips that we didn't talk to the restaurantabout. When she dipped into it, she found she had biten into what she took for a cactus quill... So she tried to order somecactus, only to have the waitress come back from the kitchen to tell her after taking the order that they were out of it. Beprepared, the menu prices on the website are out of date. I've no doubt the raised prices are a result of the way the world isat this time. There are several items marked off the menu with tape as well likely because of the same. I will return in thefuture. Read more

Inexpensive, delicious, welcoming atmosphere, overall enjoyable. We were welcomed by the warm staff at the door and enjoyed... delicious and very reasonably priced tex-mex at about $9.99 a person (not including the coronas). My one gripe was the cockroachthat graced us with his presence during our meal. If I lived in the area, I would return many times over. Read more
We would be regulars here if they were closer to us. The salsa dip flavor was one of the best around, however it's changed and... has become soupy. The flavor is still there but now it's really messy to scoop. It's like they pureed it down so it's nolonger chunky, this way you cannot devour it up and ask for more as quickly keeping the cost down. Whatever the differencewatch out for your clothes while eating this. Didn't use to be that way. If it wasn't for that I'd give a 5. Staff was very friendly and service was good but the food was horrible. I ordered the fish tacos. Which was 1/3 fish, 1/3 onion,... and 1/3 cilantro?. Thats it? no rice or anything else. All I could taste was onion and cilantro. The morning after, i can stilltaste the onion after I?ve brushed my teeth twice and eaten/drank plenty of other stuff. No meal should have that much onion andcilantro especially if there isn?t going to be anything else in the meal. I fully expect my stomach to continue to burn the restof the day.
