Had not been here in several years. Activities changed so not as convenient. Food was even better than we remembered. This is... high end cuisine. A little pricey but worth every penny. Interior is lovely and restful. Staff and owner are the best I haveseen. Read more

Truly the best Chinese food I?ve ever eaten. It?s a nice restaurant that is hidden in a strip shopping center. We brought our... family of six and every one loved their meal. The service was on point and the food was delicious. Read more

We stopped in for lunch. The szechuan tofu was okay (I thought it was way too sweet and could use more vegetables). The... lettuce wraps were okay too (I found it too salty). Staff was friendly. The booth where we were seated had a massive, unrepaired rip in it. Given the choices available in town, we likely won't return. Read more

1/2 Peking duck, sweet and sour chicken, chicken Lo mein, fried rice, sweet and sour soup and 5 shrimp rolls. $87 dollars.... Aweful, overcooked, greasy and unimpressive. Could have ordered the same from yummy wok in Ghent and had a better experience for$40 bucks less the duck of course which was salty rubber. I am a big sweet and sour soup fan and threw the whole container awayafter the first bite. Granted this was take out and folks tend to give shining reviews for eat in cuisine. Tonight was a hugemiss. Aweful. Everything was the same color over cooked and terrible. Read more

Mira did an excellent job of hosting my family of 25 to celebrate my parents 51st wedding anniversary. We had an entire dining... room and she had the table set and 2 servers (Sarah & Trevi) assigned to our family. We had 3 appetizers (calamari, sesamepancakes and dumplings). For our main entrees we had fried flounder, ribs, seafood bowl, and duck. The food was brought outperfectly and there was so much food that everyone was able to take some home. I would highly recommend The Imperial Palace forthe best Chinese food and atmosphere. Mira takes pride in her restaurant and the happiness of her customers. Read more

Items on their vegan menu need explaining. We thought the szechuan cabbage was a cooked dish. All it is is cabbage covered in... sesame seeds with a vinegar dressing. Upon seeing the dish, we remarked on it thinking it was supposed to have some red sauce onit; the waitress told us it was a like Chinese salad. We wouldn't have ordered that had we known it was just a salad. I got thetofu veggies and fired noodles dish (also off the vegan menu). It came artfully prepared with fresh vegetables in a bed ofnoodles that looked like a birds nest. However, the noodles were HARD like ramen noodles. I don't even know if the noodles werecooked. I think they just took the noodles out of a package, designed it like they did, and threw them in an oven to brown andcrisp then up. There wasn't any sauce on the dish, just water on the bottom of the plate to help soften the noodles, so therewas no specific taste to the dish. Had it said the veggies would be on a bed of HARD noodles, I wouldn't have ordered it becauseI like soft, COOKED noodles. Plus, the tofu tasted like the water that was in the dish, even with dumpling sauce. Portion sizesare also small. All other Chinese restaurants I've been to have large portions so you can share. These were all personalsize. The edamame dumplings are good, however. Probably won't be coming back. Peter Chang's and Jade Villa (on IndependenceBlvd) are WAY better. Read more
